Thanks for the update Jamie, I did wonder why we haven't seen much of Sarah for a while ( I guess we will find out in the upcoming video). Dogs have what I call selective hearing, often if you are calling them they will ignore you but they will always hear food and other nice things 😀
She works 6-7 days a week during the summer so rarely get chance to see her then

I'm sorry to hear that Jennifer. My dad had his thyroid removed years ago. It's not fun taking medication for it for the rest of your life. I pray that you heal well 🙏🙏

When you are Sherpa's age, you get what's called, "selective hearing". Just ask every retired person..
It’s amazing how much dogs sleep. My little guy will sleep anytime. I think he’s sound asleep and I mention going for a drive he’s up and off the couch so fast. Makes me laugh. He turned five yesterday. I can’t even imagine when he’s twelve.
Love watching your travels and seeing sights I'll never experience. Sherpa is always entertaining. Such a social butterfly.

Sherpa's birthday, 10/3/2010, makes his astrological sign a Libre/Tiger. He's supposed to be charming, deeply attached to his person and other pets and he values peace and quiet over action and adventure. Not sure that sounds like Sherp with all the adventures he goes on! 😅

I am not sure this applies to the UK but where I work people have come in non stop looking for hot spot treatment, mostly allergy related because seasonal allergies are so bad this year, where I live anyway. Sherpa is doing amazing, lets hope they don't bother him too much

Jamie, I'm probably imagining things, coz you're the best dog owner I've ever seen - you treat Sherps like a king (... 😁) you pay attention to every little thing, even before it happens... 😂 and then you immediately react & take care of it. But still, I wanted to draw your attentio to the fact that in the video (6:21) Sherpa's tongue seemed whiter than ever. Was he feeling well that day? Was he extremely tired? I'm sure when you see the video and remember the details, you'll know immediately what to do and how to relate to the case. Probably, what I'm saying is... nonsense!!! All the best to you, both ❤ !!!

My (b)rat terrier Aednat says that as dogs get older, it's funny to them to pretend they're hard of hearing. (She's played that game since she was 3...) Apparently we're just not that interesting to them. Unless treats are involved. 😁

Miraculously, I bought my bungalow 20 years ago today and the process only took 6 weeks! The estate agent worked part time at my local radio station and I used to ring up and enter competitions and spoke to him😊 I only twigged it was him when I went in to sign some paperwork and recognised his voice. I had sold my big house and put my stuff in storage for a few weeks so was classed as a cash buyer. I know the housing market is completely different now. The funniest part was when he informed me that he had entered my name into the Halifax Estate Agents monthly draw for quick house sales. He had won and my prize was my picture printed in the local gossip paper and a meal for 2, bottle of champagne and £50. You would not believe how many people stopped me in the street months afterwards after recognising me. It was very embarrassing🤣

Thanks for the update, Jamie. That's odd how you need to arrange a mortgage before finding a house. In Canada, no bank will issue you a mortgage until you've actually found a house you're interested in, and are prepared to make an offer.
Yea we can't even view until we can prove we have the funds available to borrow 🙈
In the States you can view a house without having 1. But it's easiest to get pre approved, so that when you shop and look, you know what you can afford. I know people who look at them for fun, if there aren't home shows in the area. Attended a home show yrs ago with my sister's family, as my BIL was a builder.

In the US, you can get pre-qualified. It’s faster. When I started looking, I found a house and by the time I got paperwork together, the house sold 🤷♀️

My 12 year old golden has selective hearing also. For some reason, it goes away when there is a hint of food. My sweet baby!

I didn't know you needed a mortgage approval before you get property in the UK. I've never owned property so I don't know. I thought it was that you buy a house and then do a mortgage. Aw Sherp I know about the thyroid and age. My skin was breaking down too and I finally convinced my doctors and was given Clindamycin Phosphate 1%. Also over the counter benzoyl peroxide 10%. It worked like a charm. Keep the faith. 😙🤗🥰

Try and get back to Scotland. There are still some nice places to see . Have you been to Arran or go further north to aviemore and there's a place past Inverness called Fort Rose. Or a short stay in Millport ferry over from Largs
