I am tweaking a little "quiet doll" as we speak, but I have a little bunny that is completed with printable pattern and next to video. I will be starting with a smaller type of doll, to get viewers familiar with the prim process, such as making eyes and noses. Then I will tackle a larger prim doll like this one. Thanks so much for the kind words and the watch, I appreciate that!
You are so welcome! I do too, it last forever. I am working on a new primitive cloth doll video this week, I hope you'll come back to visit? (free pattern as always)!
I just started using grunge mix. I look forward to trying it with the nutmeg. Your dolls are beautiful. So sorry to hear you lost some due to moths. Thank you Jersey for all your tips and tricks. Blessings~
Yes I’m a true Jersey girl. ❤️ TN is just a pit stop. lol. Love to move back to NJ but the taxes are wayyy too much. I do miss it ever so much though. Thanks for the watch and the comment.
@@lettycardenas4091 you definitely could try, I would boil it a little to reduce the water and make it more concentrated. Tea is nice too but more of a light dye. But for a good grunge, even Dollar store instant coffee works. I’m not sure regular coffee would work for a grunge, dye yes but not really a grunge. Hope that makes sense?😏
I like natural fabric, cotton and linen, not sure cheesecloth would work, the stuffing would fall through the holes. You can recycle old aprons, white denim, pillow cases, etc. Check out my craft playlist for free patterns and how to make dolls. ruclips.net/p/PL8EOriYWf06nFsq8bHyfX94lR2ybiP5KY
Thank you so much! I like to cut the hole very small and slowly work the stick in. I try and not use a glue gun if at all possible. when making prim dolls. It helps if the stick has little barbs or splinters on them, they seem to "grab" the cotton which helps them stay intact. I should have a prim rabbit video up tomorrow, it's almost all edited. Make sure and hit the bell for notification :)
@@FarmhouseBC Oh wow! That's much simpler than I was thinking!! Thank you so much for the reply, I definitely will be looking for the next video! 🤩 My daughters and I watched every video in the playlist today!😁 Haha! You've gained a faithful follower here!
I do a low setting, like for herbs, start with 30 minutes, check each half hour. If you put it directly on the wire racks, it will leave lines, which is ok sometimes but not on the dolls, they should be on a silicone sheet.
I’m curious if you’ve ever grunged any kind of stuffed animal? I have a bunny I’d like to grunge to make more primitive. But I’m not sure how it would turn out. It’s furry and I’d like to use it as an Easter decoration. Thank you.
Yes, I have done old teddy bears, they came out cute. I would dab it on maybe not brush to keep the fur pile in tack. Thanks for the watch and the comment :)
You can make them: :) I have a few tutorials showing how to make smaller primitive projects, since this video came out. I will be doing one showing how to make the perfect primitive doll head in the near future. Thanks for the watch and the comment :)
For the color and the prim textured look. You could just use instant coffee, but you will not have that beautiful prim look that the spices add. Plus it smells soooo great!!

What type of material is best to make the actual doll or pumpkin ? Cheese cloth or linens?

Great tutorial! Can't wait to try!🧡 Can you please tell me how people securely fasten stick noses onto their dolls like that?

How long in dehydrator?

What r the spices for?
