I'M SO PROUD OF YOU. It feels like we were along for the ride throughout the making of this book. As I grow as a writer and watch these videos and see you growing, it just assures me that I can do it too. I have no way to express how much I love these videos and how much they inspire me.
These are my favorite videos of yours! As a reader, but primarily a writer, I totally feel this whole series on a spiritual level. I *totally* wish I did this when writing my most recent novel. In May, I recently had one of my beta readers finish reading my novel, and IT WAS SO AMAZING. Every terrifying thing you think when offering them your writing is gone when they say "I LOVED IT."

Your rant about people with 20/20 vision is my life. I didn't get glasses until I was already graduated high school and was surprised with how much they changed my vision. But when everyone in my family had glasses I don't think that was something I should have guessed

Coming back to these in the excitement of my own writing project, having read the publish book a few years ago, the Holy Ground connection is SO TRUE
man I get the feeling when some reads your book/story and you're like woah this person read and enjoyed some I made.So far I have started a story I intend to turn into a short novel,but of course I'm sure I'm going to edit it a lot through the years.Like this story is the one I intend on actually publishing one day,but right now I'm only at the beginning of it.And these book writing episodes were actually what inspired me to take writing more seriously.
I love this series so much! So awesome to follow an author on the journey of writing and creating a book!

Your book writing videos make me so inspired to really write my own books! I have so many ideas and since I finally have my own laptop I feel like I can really write and I just love your episodes soon much!!!
I do "deleted scenes" to the EXTREME. I literally have folders upon folders upon folders of rewrites of my book. Because I don't really WANT to throw away all those, so I just keep making new files with names like "book title 2.0" and "book title 2.0 AGAIN." It's a lil ridiculous :P

Ikr I'm super worried that I'll need it later. Every time I delete a paragraph, it's like I'm deleting a part of me
I do that too!! Maybe not just with ideas and rewrites, but my essays and letters from school too! I would die if I see all my hard work "flushed away" for nothing....

wooh! so excited for your book! this makes me want to flesh out some of my stories and actually write again!
I actually highly recommend listing the problems with the manuscript you wanna clean up in order of most importance and jump around in the manuscript focusing on one problem at a time. I've found it to be a lot easier and more streamlined than going through start to finish, since most problems crop up in sporadic areas.

I can relate to this video so muuuuch. I'm at the start of my editing process just thinking to myself "WTF WAS I THINKING WHEN I WROTE THIS?!" It's so hard to be completely satisfied with your work! Even though you could have written it a couple of months ago it's like you've GROWN or something since then haha 😊
