When you say every book you write you put a piece of yourself in... it made me think of horcruxes. And in a way all books are horcruxes that keep a part of its author alive within its pages... which could only mean one thing: J. K. Rowling is immortal because there are 7 Harry Potter books and there are 7 horcruxes in the series. Mind = blown

I've been watching your channels since 2010/11 and I owe you so much! You've recommended so many books that have changed my life and I can't wait to add yours to that list! Thanks for being such a great role model to grow up to :) can't help but feel all emotional now that I'm almost done high school and that you're almost done writing YOUR OWN BOOK! HOW CRAZY IS THAT! yay! I'm on my "second draft" as in I finished draft 1, printed it out, realised basically EVERYTHING needs changing, and now I'm wondering WHYYYYYY WHAT WAS THE POINT?! lol but this second version is making me excited again. I was getting bored with the first one. sigh.

^ Not having motivation to do something doesn't necessarily mean you don't enjoy doing it. It's just easy to forget how much you like some things, and with writing it's hard when you don't have the creativity
Yeah^ and I enjoy writing so much it's just that I've been so busy managing my job and working like six days a week and also trying to juggle five AP classes on top of applying for scholarships and trying to apply for college so whenever I actually have like downtime I have trouble getting the motivation to write instead of sleep lol. I used to never be able to stop but then I had to actually start worrying about life and stuff ;-; sigh
literally same im watching this right before attempting to get a couple thousand words down today

That whole thing about being too close to something to see how stupid it is until you go back in. Damn I relate too much sometimes I reopen a chapter after being gone for a while and I just want to chuck my laptop because WHAT WAS I THINKING
I'm not the biggest fan of booktubers who get published because I see that most of the time they only get published because of their sub-count and not the quality of their work but it makes me happy to see a booktuber who's putting blood, sweat and tears into their manuscript, as it should be. Kudos for that and good luck with your endeavours.

Actual watermelon has a weird texture in smoothies, but watermelon juice might be awesome. As a side note, cantaloupe is great in smoothies 😂 I can't wait to read it this book, and I love your updates.
