His mom packed up everything she had and moved out with her boyfriend leaving them behind in a empty house and soon after that they eventually got evicted because they coundt pay the rent since he was only in 5th grade and I'm not sure about his older brother and a lot more that I forgot. Yes, he did get rescued, that is a lot to live by the time you are only 15.
