    it comes to me as a surprise why we don't want to listen to the Nobel laureates. Look at the number of views - only 4000.

    Thank You Mr. Angus Deaton sir for your great contribution to 'Indian Poverty is caused by caste system' we really appreciate & respect your true as well as pure conclusion.Came to know through BAMCEF convention about it.

      Yes, the caste system is a serious problem. But so is the systemic problem of landed privilege. The rental value of land is societally-created. For hundreds of years thoughtful analysts have argued that this land rental fund ought to be captured to pay for public goods and services, rather than taxation of wages, tangible asses or commerce.
