Angus Deaton - "The Great Escape: Health, Wealth, and the Origins of Inequality"

Angus Deaton, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of International Affairs, professor of economics and international affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School and author of "The Great Escape: Health, Wealth, and the Origins of Inequality," discussed his book at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2013, in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall.
The book chronicles the story of how, beginning 250 years ago, large numbers of people have achieved levels of well-being that were previously available only to a few individuals, and how this achievement has given rise to equally unprecedented inequalities.
