  • Having taken the ferry across from Dieppe to Newhaven in our motorhome and all the traveling and sorting out the dogs worming tablets prior to coming back, we like to chill in the South Downs. This time we found a little cl near to Lewes in a place called Cooksbridge. This gives us the time to relax a little before bracing the M25 journey in the motorhome back to Wales.
We had a lovely walk to black cap from the site in Cooksbridge on the South Downs. The only drawback from this site was it was quite a walk to the nearest pub, which those that watch will know was something Dave had been missing whilst we were away for those 90 days in Europe.
From here we traveled to the Caravan and Motorhome club fest in Kelmarsh Hall. Thoroughly good time was had and even Xena did not mind the loud music. It was, however, bitterly cold in the evening with that wind.
This episode also takes us to the Cotswolds and to Bourton on the Water. We had a great walk around the countryside - which is something that we miss when abroad as the English countryside and the Cotswolds is really pretty, We also managed to see the deer jump over a fence.
We also show you around the Nordic walk near to Buckingham (staying at the hedgehog retreat) from Stowe National Trust place. Also a lovely walk that reminds us how beautiful the UK can be.
Hope you enjoy our first vlog on summer motor homing in the UK.
