    Hi There,
Thanks for the awesome vid. James mentioned the QBCC code when building a timber deck in close proximity to the ground, what kind of timber was used on his build? H3/H4 ?
    Thanks heaps

This project was so long ago, but we'd recommend H4 with the close proximity to water and to the ground. H3 is very commonly used though.

would u recomend putting them on sand?

TuffBlocks certainly can be used on sand, but with the potential for sinking we'd recommend using them as an intermediary with concrete posts.

Can you adjust the height? I am thinking to put decking on my concrete alfresco. Thanks.

Hi Jeffry - building on existing concrete is where TuffBlock excels. In terms of adjusting the height you have 2 options.
      1) Cut posts to height using the 4x4 post slot in the TuffBlocks. See our video showing how this is achieved: ruclips.net/video/2sipQzYWw00/видео.html
      2) Use crusher dust/paver base under your blocks for drainage, and alter the amount under each block to slightly adjust the height of each block as seen in this video: ruclips.net/video/vXSiL66rzf0/видео.html
This is perfect in combo with TuffBlocks for ultra low profile decks that would be difficult or impossible when building on a surface you can't dig into like a concrete patio.
Hope that helped. Any other questions, please feel free to get in touch at: info@buildtuff.com
