I got one of these on a bit of a whim. I just thought that I would probably like it, and it is in my little EDC pouch now. It has me selling my Top D. For me, it is on my short list of fidgets that are masterpieces. Maybe not for everyone, but I love it. Another great video, by the way.
Another one that absolutely blew my mind, unexpectedly so, was a slider called the Gamut. It’s made by Juzhen EDC which often gets confused as Juzhedc because of how they make their logo it seems they try to combine the “n” and “d” letters on the slider. I did a google translate on the packaging and it came back as Matrix EDC in English. If you translate “matrix” from English to Chinese, you get “Jǔzhèn” which sounds like Joo-jen. After all that, I think I’m onto something with that actually being Matrix EDC. Anyway, I got my Gamut from GEEONE and, oddly enough, I got my Chenyu Guardian from them on the same day. That was an awesome fidget day for me. I know this is a lot, but I urge you to get your hands on a Jǔzhèn EDC Gamut. It is hands down my favorite slider and another masterpiece imo. Thanks for your time.
@@thefidgetfix Not only the tuning fork, but it comes default with a little crunchiness in it, which I personally like. Both sounds together and it’s just very satisfying. It has stronger corner magnets than middle magnets, so it ladders well. Also, you can push it sideways and then flick it at the corners similar to a Lautie Shuffle’s action and still get the crunch and “ting” of the tuning fork. If you don’t like crunchy sliders, it’s very customizable too but I liked it as it came. The idea to put nylon plates was genius. No reason to ever use teflon tape. It’s impressive and very thoughtfully designed. Well, I’ve probably bothered you enough. Take care.
I got the PEI one and it’s one of my favorites! I like it so much I might get a Ti or Zirc one and I haven’t bought a metal fidget in quite awhile I have so many less issues with the thermoplastics…
What do you think of this for someone who is just getting into mechanical sliders and has little experience with disassembly and such? You make this look easy!
@@phreakinpher I think this is a fun one because it can do multiple things. It’s also really well made. Definitely a great choice as an “entry” slider.
The great instructional video, clearly delineated, and very helpful

Yeah I feel the same way about it. Sometimes a fidget just nails it and you can really explain why. This has been my car fidget ever since I got it

@@Bullmoogle yeah the tuning fork one. I've got it on my radar. I love the idea that someone has incorporated a new sound into a fidget

@@BullmoogleI’m on Geeone site and I only see JUZHEDC Gamut, no JUZHENEDC Gamut. Thanks for the info will look into it too!

The action looks really smooth. Thanks for the look!
It's the smoothest mechanical I've seen. It's like the one pal but being able to do 2 separate motions with it really puts it on top for me

The screw holes in the plates are "counterbored" for the head of the screw to go into.
Thanks! Now I won't sound like such a moron the next time I try to describe it ;)
oooh where did you get those plastic tipped tweezers! can you link that please
