When I was a kid I got this game for the cover art alone. Basically how I picked 90% of the games lol. Upon initial disappointment (thought it was a shooter) I started to love this.
Same. I bought it cause if the picture. I do remember buying Sims in the City for Gameboy advance for the cover as well but it turned out to be a really good game
My dad used to play this when I was still a kid. He also taught me how to play the Game Boy - along with the Family Computer, these old gaming consoles remind me of him.
Had this on a multi cart when I was a kid. I had literally 0 idea how to play it or complete a level. Watching this now though I'm gonna have to dig my old GB out!
I played this a lot when I was a kid but to this day I'm not quite sure wether I enjoyed it or not. Lion King and this were propably the most frustrating games. Seeing this video now I'm also positive sophomore is what could have caused my anxiety disorder - shit is nerve wracking :D
I don't even know how i was able to reach lvl 20 on this game when i was i kid, now that i played it again i struggled to reach that level. This is game is really hard, like, way to hard, it literal requires you to predict random patterns of enemy respawn on some levels to be able to pass it and a insane reaction to be able to do some stuff. It's way to punishing and the difficulty curve is non-existent, dang, even some later levels were easy tan previous ones. After beating i was more frustrated than anything lmao.
Can we pleas all agree that this game is hard as hell, no progression, the first level is absolutely insane for a kid

I had this game when I was a kid. It frustrated the hell out of me. It still does, but it brings back memories at least
I used to get anxieties playing this game. I was so scared of the enemy catching me. I just made holes everywhere.

hey whats the name of the game where you control a jumping ball over collapsing tiles, music was like egyptian or greek?
I'm not sure that I know this game, but do you have more information about it? What system is it on and is it single player?
@arronmunroe yes single player on the gameboy classic not color
Cool Ball? Never played it before, but the bounce system looks similar to Mappy arcade.
@@arronmunroe Found it : Pyramids of Ra.
I traded in two crappy SNES games for this at the pawn shop. Love it!

So true man
Same here, I don't recall having ever even beaten a level as a kid and even as an adult I can't beat it xD
It is impossible to pass that wall closing area at 44, I tried hard, I don't know if you are using a different key.
I'm not sure of the exact moment in this video you're referring to.
@@arronmunroe I'm talking about the long walls that broke as you entered the door at 44 and 46.
Oh ya THIS is the loderunner I played. Finally found the right video on it 😬

i never understand how to win in this game =(

This is Lode Runner for the Game Boy, that’s all. First was lousy as a computer game, lousy as an arcade game, lousy as an NES game.
