Back in 2007 or 2008, i went to an autistic classroom in 2nd grade, my teacher had the clear Gameboy Advance with Super Mario Land and Bubble Bobble and whenever the students did a good job on a worksheet, they earned 5 minutes to play the Gameboy Advance. Great times 😌☺

Daisy may have been censored for the 1990s in terms of major video game appearances only because she was a shameless Peach rip-off in this game. She suffered an identity crisis for one decade because the journalists and localizers got fooled of her overbearing resemblance to Peach that they didn't know she was a different character. When I said Daisy got censored for the 1990s, I'm saying that she didn't make any major 90s video game appearances because most people had a hard time telling how she was different from Peach in her earlier video game appearances. At first glance, it must have stunk being from Japan back in the day. You had to deal with a single-minded western society that didn't allow any content outside of social norms just because they were protecting the mental health of little children. In the case of Daisy, she had no major video game appearances in the 1990s because many people got deceived by Daisy's uncanny resemblance to Peach in her earlier video game appearances. Unlike now, America wasn't so market-friendly. Glad Daisy is getting more attention today, it's just that they should known that Daisy and Peach were different characters to begin with. What clouded many people's judgement of Daisy back in the day was Daisy looking ridiculously similar to Peach in this game. I admit that Daisy is stronger than Peach.
@@23GreyFox I'll admit it. I was jealous of Japan getting away with Daisy and Fisheye being male just because our society at the time was too conservative. I didn't like the past societal norms because people didn't understand Japanese media as they do now. We weren't aware of the existence of Japanese media at the time. We also didn't know that toys, cartoons, and video games were enjoyed by everyone, not just children. We thought that Japan was crazy, but deep down, Japan wasn't messing around. Sailor Moon was just too weird for western society, so we didn't know that Fisheye was male. Let's just say that western society was paranoid about gays in kids shows, so the producers wanted kids to forget that Fisheye was male and pretend that he is a tomboyish beauty queen. Let's just say that back in the 1990s, we didn't know that Princess Daisy was a different character just because we grew up in a conservative American society.
