as an electric motor mechanic and rewinder... NEVER use a shielded bearing on these electric unicycles!!! The double sealed 6203LL was much better as it's sealed!! That shielded bearing will last maybe 1/4 as much as the sealed one it had.
Thank you for that information. I have to admit that I possess little to no knowledge about bearings. Do you mind sharing with us why sealed bearings is better than shielded bearing for this euc? Is it able to provide more protection against dirt or other contaminants? Honestly, I used 6203zzcm zinc because that's the only 6203 that I could found in my local store and it said it had less friction. Nevertheless, to all viewers of this video, I'll leave the choice of bearings type to you. As long as it is 6203.
@@erichps8124 The sealed bearings are better because they are sealed from dirt and dust. Shielded bearing are not. What I find weird is how KingSong and others don't use a bearing retainer and oil seals on their main bearings as these things would make it possible for the bearing space to be grease packed like a wheel bearing on a car, motorcycle,trailer,bicycle... A 6203 bearing is just too small as well for this kind of weight. They could have easily used a 6304LL or 6305LL and that would have been much better. A 6203 is a very small bearing size used for light weight rotors in small motors.
i would regreese those bearings with vacuum method with some marine grease. As rotation speed is not so fast, bearings should be full of grease, not half of them.

Thank you i just ordered sealed bearings for my kingsong
@@DumbThumbsFPV Thanks for the insight. Does the SKF 6203-2RSH work?
@@jeffreytong yes, they will. 2RS means double sided rubber sealed, H means for heavy duty
Thanks for that, I just did mine.
Congratulation, you've just completed one of most difficult tasks in the world

Thank you !
Awesome video brother, thanks heaps for sharing. About to upgrade my bearings so this really helped. 🙏🇦🇺🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Good look brother
Thank you for this video
I used 2 claw hammers to gently prize the disc cover plate off, more controlled
Seeing how the sausage is made.
Same..wheel beginning to squeak
If you like to drive ur euc on muddy road like me, probably one or more component start to make some rust and produce that noise
Поставил не герметичный подшипник .Нужно 6202-2rs с пластиковым пыльником.
Зато качение лучше и дальность хода увеличится 😂
definetly not ZZ bearings should be used, 2RS only
