People knock on this truck,,l love my 2003 avalanche n l pretty roomy once u get the hang of all the little cool engineering Chevy puts into it,, those side panels should be mandatory on every newer pickup trucks, so useful spaces
Do you have a way to secure it/cargo back there? Only real downside to the mid gate is that if you have it down, you are back to having a single cab while hauling.
I put a '14 Yamaha fz09 front to back without taking off the midgste window and didn't fold the midgate down and i was able to close the tailgate and use the tie down anchors on each side to secure it with ease. Plus i has room to place all 3 bed cover panels on one side of the bike and i also had the bike on just is bike stand. With only two ratchet straps..

Btw the window fits in the truck behind the seat. And the bar goes with the migate if done correctly

Nice. You should try reversing it in there if you can.
You can do this also on the 1500 5.3 avalanche also

Yea maybe if you reverse the 1st quad in and get it all the way to the front seats, then you could fit another bike.
My problem is now I loose my back seat and I have to leave the back open.
If you back it in, can you fit two atvs with the tailgate down🤣
