In this video I am having fun with Ableton Push 2 while working on Patreon May project. Join Patreon: / distillednoise Get previous packs: distillednoise...
In my opinion, the push is not a good creative tool but a super Ableton controller. I find Maschine or the Elektron devices much better for the creative process. But when it comes to controlling Ableton, the push is the king. 🤟
Do NOT worry! i Bought a Push 2 a year ago and have not used it that much and I also find it way more easy to plot in thing with the mouse! I think many of us who started using Live with a mouse and a keyboard have a hard time getting into the Push! I have a good friend who bought Live and his push a the beginning and for him it is the ultimate tool! For me it is a jungle and very very very slow! I have the Push 2 and a Maschine MK3 right now and of the two I use the Maschine the most in combination with either Live, Cubase or Logic! I actuelly think that a Mpc One might be the perfect fit with a Daw! The Mpc software has reaaly great plugins and effects! Try the free Mpc Beats software and see for yourself
Thomas I totally agree with you! I also have the Maschine + and I have to say that I enjoy it more, especially since it's a standalone hardware, so I can make beats everywhere. That being said I want to give few more chances to push, hopefully I find a good way to use it!
I use my push2 everyday all day! You gotta learn how to use it as a live looper and for FX. I loop with all my piano/synths right on the push with a pedal, unstoppable. But that involves putting in work, but super easy if you know basic in/out audio interface stuff…...,. Good luck
I recommand to use note repeat with groove recording. It's working great on drums AND mélodies and basslines
Thanks for the tip Maksym!!

Agreed
@@sergedotcom The only creative aspect I found is for chords. For now, I agree with you regarding everything else!

Will keep digging deeper on it! thanks for the comment my friend!
Totally agree. It’s a big learning curve but so worth it.
@@distillednoise honestly if you’re not live looping it isn’t even worth using
