I'm happy for renovation of that old hospital. I think it has strong foundation because many strong earthquakes hit Luzon especially 7.8 magnitude in 1990, 7.0 magnitude in 2022 and 6.1 magnitude in 2019 but the old hospital remains standing.

Thanks for the update, used to work there as a part of our clinicals as a student nurse of Angeles Univ Foundation circa 1974 to 77. Excellent learning experience in that hospital.

My youngest son was born there in 1974. This is awesome, great walk-thru and videos, but damn if it doesn't make me cry. Bu thank God the building remains and will remain for a long time. That is a great feeling.

Hey Brian my dear friend, wow!!! They have made a good amount of progress. I really like the front entrance sign. But I'm sure that they have more work to do on that sign. The painting on some of the columns looks very good. Maybe if you keep looking in the dark rooms, you might come across the morgue. They are making progress, slowly but surely. Wow, the elevator got stuck up at the top. Thank you for the latest update brother. Thank you Brian my dear friend for sharing this awesome video.please stay safe and healthy, and God bless you, lot, Borges, Miguel, Hannah grace, Bing Bing(Sam), Reynalyn, Reynalyn's daughter, Adrian, Chubbs, and the rest of your beautiful family. And may God bless Batchoy, B-2, Rocky, Mama Earl(RIP), and little snow always.😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

That awesome, love history and, in many cases, keeping old buildings and repurposing. In this case, it might have been better to re do the building so it could be an affordable hospital and have a wing as the museum to help offset costs of care. A dual-purpose building. None the less its good to see it being used again rather than sit and rot.

I am amazed that so much got done, that does not seem typical of normal Filipino construction. I am used to seeing things done by hand at a snails pace.

@18:02 Brian, that inaccessible space on the roof is most likely where the motors and related equipment for the elevators was. The elevators being cable operated needed space for the electric motors, cable drums and control equipment.

Thanks for the update, it is coming along real nicely. It seems kind of weird to put the sign up when they are nowhere near complete. They have years of work to do still. Putting up the nice sign is like writing the title and making the cover for a book...that hasn't even been written, yet. Hahaha

Thanks for sharing. My son was born in that hospital in 1984. Quick question: will the on-site security allow tourist to take pictures from outside the building at the main entrance while the renovation work is ongoing? My wife and I plan to tour the former Clark Air Base on the November 16 or 17, then we will leave Angeles City and won't return until December 11.
