NATE, it's been awhile since your last video. You are having way too much fun in the Philippines. I'm not too jealous. My Filipino wife of almost 46 years is currently on Mactan Island, Cebu repairing our home after the typhoon that spent way too much time siting on top of our house. Work almost done, hotel stay ended right after my wife finished her stay, I am age 79 and haven't been able to come back for over 2 years.. I can't wait - Seeing all the marvelous things to come in Clark, makes me wish I was as young as you are again. Now I am jealous.
Hahhaaa, yeah, you can't be too jealous! I hope all the repair work goes smoothly down south. Warmest, heartfelt wishes to you and your wife, and thanks so much for the post!
I appreciate your video. Very informative. My home town is about an hour from Clark and I can’t wait to see the progress there. Thank you for your hardwork. More videos please.
Hi Nate, great video with much variety. It is amazing how much development and building there is in the Philippines. Seeing all of the variety of the animals in the Zoo was great. Interesting to see how McDonalds developed places for people biking to stop and eat at the tables outside. The most unique part of the video was the Wild West city of El Kabayo. What a nice job they did in developing and planning it. The water park looked very fun filled and satisfying to visit. As always, your enthusiasm and encouraging words were a great highlight.
Ben, I'm so grateful for what you've written in your post! THANK YOU!! I'm glad you appreciate all the elements I included in this video. Please do share with any family or friends who might also be interested. Again, thanks ever so much, and best wishes to you and yours from Pampanga!
Wow...There is so much to see in Clark...a lot of new things and new developments. Soon to be the next BGC. I grew up in Pampanga...and for sure I will be back there when I retire. Thanks for featuring Clark again.
Clark is much better than BGC. Those wide tree-lined pedestrian/bike lanes are beautiful. BGC does not even have bike lanes before the pandemic. And their sidewalks are not that wide either. Clark has much better urban planning, more greenery and more facilities for outdoor activities. But then BGC is small compared to Clark.
@@minyoung823 Lol, I think he is talking about, based on popularity, it will be similar to or even greater than BGC; don't be toxic to people who compare places. We all know that newly developed places are always better than old ones, because that's how it should be. BGC was only recently constructed; it is constantly compared to other best cities in the world, which is why he says Clark is the next BGC; so relax, bruh, and let's see what happens to Clark. As of now, what we are seeing is a very good indication that it will be.
@@minyoung823 Fact? You literally dissect every aspect of why Clark is for you; will become better than BGC, where he just said it will be like BGC in the sense that it will be popular too. But here you are, rushing in and saying no, apples are blah blah, and oranges are better, blah blah. See what I mean?😂😂
Hi Nate! I happened upon your video and am so glad I did. I was a nurse stationed at Clark when the volcano erupted. I worked Labor and Delivery. I delivered the last baby on the night shift. I covered everything, grabbed the high risk charts, turned off the lights, one last look and walked away. Never to return. The areas you showed in your video, I traversed. From the main level, the front door to the covered walkways. Those elevators were frequently breaking down. Scary. I had to climb out on one occurrence. I worked right around the corner from ICU and was on duty when Chuck Norris crew were brought in. I rode the elevator with Chuck. Seeing the hospital brought back a flood of memories. The times we took breaks by climbing out a window to sit on the overhang to get fresh air. I'd like to mention how beautiful the base was. Not a grain of sand out of place until the volcano erupted that is. We employed thousands of locals. The base has all that land preserved thanks given to the U.S.A.F. for preserving it all those years. I was privileged to be part of that Era. You painted Avery nice picture of the area. I read there is a zoo on base? If I read that correctly? I frequently visited the zoo and stables when off duty as I love animals. The zookeeper was the nicest man. I loved feeding the flying fox. I can still hear the howler monkey. I was so worried about the animals when the volcano erupted and have always wondered how they fared. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. I enjoy your style. Great job!

That was great Nate! Good to see you. Clark is an awesome up coming area that is really being tailored to the environment of that beautiful country. All the new impressive development is really inviting. The Kabayo looks fantastic with that classic American feel I always want to see. As always, the foods are great and a place I want to visit. Nice review of the development at Clark. Lived in the Clark area for many years in the 70's and 80's. Will visit again soon after the Philippines re-opened tourism. Good to hear that infection rates are down. Hopefully the development will benefit the average Filipino living in the area, too.

Great job as always. Incredible changes. My high school football jacket has been on display in the Clark Museum since 2000, dating back to the 1972 season at the famous Bamboo Bowl. Good to see the museum reopened, or is still open. Hope my orange "Cowboys" jacket is still there under glass! We sometimes played in a pounding typhoon, or an earthquake. The gridiron show must go on! Thanks for the memories! Check out the book "MacArthur's Children" for teenage life at Clark in the early 70s.

Another wonderful video although this tops Manila zoo, which is more like a mall with a few tame animals. That Safari has a rather ambience feels more like a zoo. Thanks Nate Hovee for doing this video which is not yet known in many parts of the country and beyond. I was there three years ago and will visit it again when I visit. Cheers from Spain! GREAT PRESENTATION!!
If it comes to size and attractions the Clark Safari beats the Manila Zoo. But it is an unfair comparison. It will be like a quail egg vs an ostrich egg in terms of land area. If Manila decides to close and sell the zoo property, I bet land developers would be falling over each other lining up and bidding on that piece of land at humongous price comparable to the ostrich egg and make the land value of the Safari the quail egg. Cheers from planet Pluto. Oh yeah, "Nate the Great," nice video as always. Keep them coming and thank you!

@@jbjb2941 Are you saying the amount of buildings are the basis of a capital? That is obviously nonsense. Manila, as well as Cebu and Davao are already congested, whilst the area of Clark is still developing, more room for modern urban planning therefore a perfect place for a new capital.
Thank you so much Nate for your continued support to our country . So proud of our New Clark .. Praying for your success in all your endeavors . Keep safe & God bless 🙏
Another fantastic and extremely informative vlog, sir! Im really excited for Clark's development. Was there last December 2021, and its a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila
Wow....I'm amazed and astounded..how beautiful it turned out to be what a quiet change since I left of my homeland Philippines, Pampanga.... my birthplace... since 1979 to U.S. when I was 8 had recollection of everything looked like back then.. yes it was Clark Air Base when I was a child... lived off base right off boundary fence where all the streets named by states..in fact on California Street! ... Must go home when I retire maybe before.! and yes I am Kapampangan :)
Wow! Awesome tour of new places in Clark. I especially love the safari park. I think it’s better than the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Watching from Southern California. I love your vlogs Nate.
Nah, too early to judge. Let's wait and see until it's finish then we will compare. Afterall, The San Diego Zoo and its sister park up North didn't become world famous for nothing. Nice to see the Philippines have one now.
Thanks so much, Athon! Please do a small favor and share this video with any family or friends who might be interested. Much appreciated, and warmest wishes, Athon!
Hi Nate, a new subscriber from the Washington, DC area! Thank you for sharing this video - fascinating, informative, and most importantly, educational. I've been watching/ following different bloggers, reading and doing research on the expectation and learning living in Manila, in a province, or one of the islands. After all that, my husband and I decided on BGC; however, after watching your blog, this area might be what we need because it's “more like our cup of tea,” very laid back, and not as congested. My husband retired from the DOJ, and I am soon a retiree from the same agency! We’re also excited about the pending projects/constructions you’ve mentioned, and we hope that one of the unfinished constructions will cater to retirees and top-notch medical facilities. Since we plan to live there for six months and the remainder will be in California, where I grew up and with all my family - so I decided to get my dual citizenship and look forward to it. Anyway, see you on your following videos featuring the completed projects! Well, take care, stay safe, and may God bless us all - peace❣️🇺🇸🇵🇭❣️
What a fun trip through the new sights and activities in Pampanga. Truly, a must-see for anyone who is able to visit. Excellent presentation as always, well researched, well produced and narrated, and I hope to see more of the PI from you in the near future. What a beautiful place with beautiful people. Thanks!

Wow, I been in Clark when I was little. What a marvelous improvement since then. This will be on my bucket list If I ever go back to Phil. What an awesome Video thank you so much.
Nate, am glad to know that you have a vlog about the continuing modernization of Clark. When we used to come back home for visits, my husband, a former US Navy did his daily runs at the naval base training grounds. He really enjoyed them. Consider me a new follower of your vlog. More power and God bless!
Nicely done, Nate! I am happy to see that the redevelopment of New Clark is sympathetic to the American vision that its former occupier had in mind when they first developed it during the turn of the 20th century. In the video, one can easily mistake New Clark for a small city in the US!
This was an awesome video! Very comprehensive and informative. I really wanna check out the Clark Safari and Adventure Park. I'm pretty sure once all covid precautions are lifted... there will be a lot of "field trips" and tourists going there!

I'd been waiting for this for a long time.. 😊😊
Thanks JL! I hope it was worth the wait!
Great video! So much has been done to my old birthplace. I will
DEFINITELY BE checking out New Clark……..THIS AUGUST, MY MAN!!!
I'm glad you're able to make it back in the coming months! Best wishes, David, and thanks for the post!
Wow. Thank you for touring us around at New Clark City. I want to visit that place. 😍
Thanks! Great coverage! It’s videos such as yours that have changed my views of the Philippines, a country where I was born, but rarely grew up in.
What a powerful compliment, Jonathan.. much appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to post this!
New Clark City definitely should be the new capital of the Philippines this place is so stunning
It is stunning! Please do share the video, Raesdub!
How could you say clark is the new capital of the Philippines? Because of the building there's a lot of building in cebu and davao.
@@jbjb2941 Are you saying the amount of buildings are the basis of a capital? That is obviously nonsense. Manila, as well as Cebu and Davao are already congested, whilst the area of Clark is still developing, more room for modern urban planning therefore a perfect place for a new capital.
@@dobbyisfree6773 how could you say clark is new capital?
@@jbjb2941 Dude I've already given you the answer on my earlier comment, if you still don't get it, its not my problem anymore.
Nate you are trully a nice and brilliant guy. Thanks for loving Pampanga.
My tremendous pleasure, and thank you, Febo!!
Thank you so much Nate for your continued support to our country . So proud of our New Clark .. Praying for your success in all your endeavors . Keep safe & God bless 🙏
Thanks so much, Goldrenz!
Another fantastic and extremely informative vlog, sir! Im really excited for Clark's development. Was there last December 2021, and its a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila
I'm sure it is! Thanks so much, Zomer. Please do share with family and friends when you can. Warmest wishes from Clark!
Thanks, Nate! definitely added to the bucket list when I get out there. Keep it coming, brother!
Awesome, and thanks so much, JohnnyS01!
This is a well documented video.. Thanks for this...
Thank you! Please share this video when you can, Hyung. It would mean a lot. Warmest wishes to you and yours!
Thanks so much for sharing this!! Best wishes to you, and I hope you can make it back home soon. 😊
Wow! Awesome tour of new places in Clark. I especially love the safari park. I think it’s better than the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Watching from Southern California. I love your vlogs Nate.
Thank you, Lem! Greetings from Pampanga!
Nah, too early to judge. Let's wait and see until it's finish then we will compare. Afterall, The San Diego Zoo and its sister park up North didn't become world famous for nothing. Nice to see the Philippines have one now.
I'm retiring soon. This will be on my list of places to visit when I settle in the Philippines🇵🇭
You never fail to amaze me.keep it up!
Terrific to hear, and thank you very much, Justered Frozen!
This video is very INFORMATIVE. Thank you for covering and making this video for everyones information. AMAZING CONTENT.
Thanks so SO MUCH, hanoi!

Thanks so much, Athon! Please do a small favor and share this video with any family or friends who might be interested. Much appreciated, and warmest wishes, Athon!

Wow! Amazing Clark.. thankyou nate for sharing this❤🥰
My great pleasure, and thank you, Paulo!
I am from Manila, but moving out going to Clark for good and better opportunities.
I hope you can make it over soon! Best wishes!
Better opportunities if you have work there
Excited for Clark's future. 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
What a fun trip through the new sights and activities in Pampanga. Truly, a must-see for anyone who is able to visit. Excellent presentation as always, well researched, well produced and narrated, and I hope to see more of the PI from you in the near future. What a beautiful place with beautiful people. Thanks!

This video at Clark Safari is amazing , being an animal lover like me, ❤️😻 its must be a good opportunity for Zoo keepers to take care of wildlife coming from around the world. 🌎 And I can tell that Pampanga has it own unique beauty and now has a special place in my heart... 💕💯

Thank you for featuring New Clark City in the Philippines, this is really informative and helps both local and foreign tourists to see the beauty of Clark Pampanga and the Philippines as a whole. I really appreciate this effort of yours to promote beautiful tourist attractions such as Clark to the public audience. God Bless & more power to you. ☺️
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and encouraging post!! Best wishes to you from Clark! 😊

Wow, I been in Clark when I was little. What a marvelous improvement since then. This will be on my bucket list If I ever go back to Phil. What an awesome Video thank you so much.
Thank you so much, Jeneve!!
Nate, am glad to know that you have a vlog about the continuing modernization of Clark. When we used to come back home for visits, my husband, a former US Navy did his daily runs at the naval base training grounds. He really enjoyed them.
Consider me a new follower of your vlog.
More power and God bless!
Thanks so much for sharing, Belina, and I greatly appreciate your support. Warmest wishes to you, your husband, and your entire family from Clark! 😊
Thank you Nate to your wonderful promotion of our country
My pleasure, and thank you for your kind post, Quebec Rey Juntilla!
I hope Clark can maintain that high standard of infrastructure and not end up like most part of Metro Manila.
I love it. We'll definitely include the place in our bucket list when we'll be in the Philippines for vacation this June. Thanks.
Excellent, and safe travels ahead! I hope you'll have a fantastic visit. Best wishes, and thanks for the post, vic jr bass!
I love again the narrative style of ur presentation!😘 hopefully u can comback to the New CIA to showcase its modernity and features…
I'm hoping to do the same, and soon! Thanks so much, Flex, and it's great to receive another post from you.. always a pleasure.
I want to visit here once I had a chancecto go to the Philippines. Thanx so much @ Nate for sharing, good job!👍
Check out the Las Casas de Acuzar in Bataan. It's like going back to Spanish colonial era. I think you need reservation to visit.
Thanks for the suggestion, Enzo!
I'm the mother of Enzo, he made my yt account because I'm not very techy on this kind of thing. Glad you liked my suggestion. Be safe always.
I miss your videos. I am so glad that you uploaded a new one. Pls upload more😌 very informative👍 i am so invested with your videos🤗
Thanks so much!! This is terrific to hear, and I hope you'll stay tuned for many more to come!
Nicely done, Nate! I am happy to see that the redevelopment of New Clark is sympathetic to the American vision that its former occupier had in mind when they first developed it during the turn of the 20th century. In the video, one can easily mistake New Clark for a small city in the US!
Thanks so much for your compliment, and I hope you can visit soon!
@@natehovee That would be nice. Once we have returned to a new normal, NCC would be in my bucket list for sure!
Glad to see all the developments in Clark
Thanks so much!!
This was an awesome video! Very comprehensive and informative. I really wanna check out the Clark Safari and Adventure Park. I'm pretty sure once all covid precautions are lifted... there will be a lot of "field trips" and tourists going there!
I hope you'll get the chance to visit very soon, Kai! Thank you so much!
this video lot of progress there thanks for sharing
