Clark Air Base Renovation Update May 29th 2024
This will be my last update of the renovation of the Old Clark Air Base Hospital. I have really enjoyed watching the renovation of the hospital. Sadly as far as I know there will be no other updates.
I will be looking forward to the completion of the new NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES CLARK.
Clark is very lucky that it has been chosen as the new home of the National Museum. It will not just be a museum but it will also be home to the National Museum’s back office, warehouse, as well as the Planetarium. The architectural framework of the old Clark hospital goes well with the plan of the National Museum and we can say that this is going to be one of the grandest things that will happen in Clark

Yes, Brian. That was me, those are base brackets for Solar Panels. Which would be a smart move to take advantage of Solar for Electricity. 😊

Thank you both for taking time out to do your last look around the Old Hospital, so much has changed from the first visit, but still far more to go before its finished. Take care on your travels to the Province, I hope the clean air helps with your cough, and I am sure you will be able to find things to to show us.
Good tour Brian thanks !! I was hoping you would do an update before you left !! Looking forward to the first province video !!! Good luck guys and enjoy the change !!

This is sad. You are always the first one I checked when I launch RUclips if you have updates regarding Clark. I'm planning going in there in the future! Hope to see you during the launch day!
I would like to make it to the grand opening.
Brian my brother thanks for the update. You have definitely done an outstanding job keeping us informed about the progress on this project. Thank you for sharing your content. I always appreciate and enjoy watching ✌🏾.
Were gonna miss you vlogging walking street and clark...
Brian thank you so much for all the hospital updates I was stationed behind the hospital at C ward which was the 19th aeromedical staging facility from 1981 to 1984.Thanks for the memories my friend.I would love to drink a cold one with you if I ever run into you.THANKS.
Good for you. I love hearing the history.
Thanks for all your videos in Angeles City over the last seven years I've been following yourself and Luisa and family.Looking forward and excited to be watching the next chapter of your lives in the province of the Philippines 🇵🇭 Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 😀👍🏻🇬🇧
Thanks for watching and your support of my channel.
@PhillyinthePhilippines I'll have a drink to the next seven years or more🍺🍺
@ndyajeff You don't give up on your quest do you...Haha. Have a nice day 😊
Don't feed into others negativity. Some people are on a self destruction path. Jeff can keep his hate on his channel.
@PhillyinthePhilippines OK thanks Philly 😊 I totally understand what you mean. 👍🏻
Never say never Brian. I'm sure u will be back one day!
Hello me old friend good to see you again...Am from the UK..I was in the Philippines...Am missing the place.. keep them videos rolling out
Great job Philly.
I like when Lot is in your videos, and You are in hers. I think it should be that way more often. I believe you should feature her more prominently, as she is a very special lady and you’re extremely fortunate to have her.
I will make sure to have her in more of my videos.
Thanks Brian for the update👏👏
No problem 👍
You will be missed.
I was hoping you would do one last update on the old Hospital building renovations before the move to the province. Thank you so much.
Make a good eating place on roof if they enclose part of it . Come back in a year and show us the progress if you are in the area . Looking forward to your videos in new home
It will be sad not to see videos from Angeles with actual content when you are gone.Hope you go back once or twice a year and do an update including the old base
i think lutts a good woman,, you cant change the past....only an insane person can do that...i have much respect for both of you ..
It looks different since the first time you took us in there. It is really sad that nobody wanted to take over telling the story and showing the progress, man, it is an important part of history! I think they might complete it by the time Bing grows up and has a family of her own, at the rate they are going with it. Hahaha. I wonder if the opening going all the way up and down were something like a return air duct for ventilation?
Change, moving on, closing chapters is always sad.. take care y'all
Good luck at your new home ! I just Visited Bocolod last month ! Not sure where i''ll land but Bocolod wasn't it
Wow it's not a haunted abandoned hospital anymore,, some ghost hunters blogger will be sad haha
I have watch all off your videos Brian and like them all!😊
Good luck in the Province!😊
Thanks so much
I'm gonna miss the old hospital 😢
If it is for solar panels they should be pointed to the south at 15 degrees to catch the most sun. Not sure of the angle of those brackets or the compass directions there, but I agree it could be for solar panel installation if the numbers match up.
I saw that hospital in 1981
And just to let you know,And this historic, old and classic U.S. Air Force's and also our U.S. Space Force's very, very and very --- owned Clark Air Force Base Hospital gives, offers and provides lots of past American Naval and Military history/histories there.Semper Fidelis
thats sad no one wants to follow thru with the old hospital,,,,maybe Chubbs would ??? i think that shaft top to bottom may have had something to do with ventiation,, tnx Brian,,have a safe trip to the province,,i will be in philippines in november !
Bingo on the RETURN air shafts.
I was only there for sick call on the ground floor. never made it further
Brian, other bloggers are not interested because sex sells but you are a cut above the rest and we will miss your updates on Clark AFB Hospital. We hope the province move works out so we can continue to follow your channel but you'll always be the "king of Angeles City".
Thanks for your kind words
I think you need to see Manny one more time for a shave and haircut before the big move.
My son was born June 2nd 1984 at that hospital but i'm not sure what floor ! The day he was born an Thunderbird pilot was also having a baby so we did get to meet some of the pilots ! Maturnity might of been on the Second or Third Floor
I worked on the third floor of the hospital from 1982 to 1984 which I believe was a medical unit however directly across from us was what I seem to remember as some kind of maternity ward.
Mortuary was closer to where enlisted barracks were, not in hospital, they did have a mortuary room though
The ' Morgue ' Was ' converted to a restaurant on a main thru road ; says a Air Force retiree.
Check whats available now . . ?
some asshole shot me in vietnam, so i ended up in the philippenes, dont remember much of it, i was in a bad way...i should be dead .
Second floor was the Operating rooms, Labor and Delivery and my Clinic, Urology. (82-87)
Thanks for that information
To bad Chubs won't do the hospital
I heard a faint sound of a baby crying in this video.
Thanks for the tours, now I'll actually have to drive up there 🙂 you didn't have to mention retired Air Force vloggers😅 that's why u always in trouble 😅😅 I guess that's who u are🤔 Good luck and be safe in the barrio hood😊
Yeah I have a bad habit of telling the truth. 👍
@@PhillyinthePhilippines u kill me bro😅 take care
If he was talking about ACE as one of the retirees he could care less since he was never stationed on Clark he hasn't lost anything over there even myself if I was living there I was stationed there in the early 70s I probably didn't go over to the hospital more than a few times....nothing to see except an empty structure plenty of those in Angeles City. :)
they came and they left..
have you passed the sheriffs badge to ABC?
That hole that you always talk about going up to the roof. the small one looks like it's probably duct work.. some of the buildings that I worked on has holes like that. duct work going through it
That opening might have been part of the air conditioning system.
Good point
Are going to pass on your videos of the hospital to someone to continue the story?
I got my answer. It is a shame that nobody wants to carry this on!
Actually the white membrane went over the foam on roof insulation.
Look at my other videos of the hospital and you will see they removed the foam on the rooftop.
@@PhillyinthePhilippines yes and replaced it. Before Membrane. Old foam only belongs in a dead 🍺 🍻 beer.
Going to cost the US a mint to rehab that base if they want a presence there.
not really the flightline is still active and the site is still strategically important. It would be a tough job but seriously doable
Why would they? It is an international airport and commercial zone, it's not an airbase any longer. If they wanted to upgrade anywhere nearby, it probably be Basa, at Floridablanca. The idea of a giant US base is dream time stuff.
@@jeffreythompson9549 I was stationed there and i know that they can and will do the "Why would Theys"
but...that being said you do have a point..most of the F-35's and other assets that are in country are at alternate locations
sorry just realized im logged in as my wife
house of lyk
Clark philippines going to a big project soon Disneyland soon possible
If the US wants to rehab that base, they will pay up the wazoo... Reminds me of G. Washington telling us to avoid entangling foreign alliances.
bahay
whata waist of money muesuem people need jobs not meauseum dont suppor the economey its a ample waste of money this was used during th vietnam era many dies there also total waste of money need to tuen this into a industry
I think it's a good idea to make it a museum and honor the fallen soldiers during WW2 and the Vietnam war who died there fighting for their country and the rest of the world. If they attract a lot of visitors then people have jobs and not to mention the people working in it now to renovate it. It's better than keeping it in the abandoned state it was.
