    Just incase you're wondering, the blue top was originally an Indian, Pakistani men's kameez! I would've never imagined them as such a pretty diy!

      We call it a “Kurto” or “Kurti” where I’m from but I was just about to say that lol!! (Edit kurto is for men and kurti is for woman!)

    Been seeing a lot of these big fluffy shoulders/sleeves at my favourite stores to window shop, so here's how you can do it yourself on a budget :) and reuse clothes!       Hi Wendy,
      I have a question, after you sew two parallel stitches to gather the fabric, want did you do with the ends of the thread? Did you Just cut them off? Or did you tie them?

    Ok using elastic to take in something that’s too big is honestly smart and looks doable. Especially that first one with the back detail. Might have to try.

      thequeenn00b yes! My favorite is a couple inches of elastic in the back of jeans to cinch in the waist. So simple and looks great 🙏🏻

      My ex asked me why I was constantly putting my hands in the pockets of my new dress and I replied; 'Well I can never do that, It feels nice.'
      Just never put your hands in your pockets when walking down the stairs, that's dangerous.

    When gathering, mark the center before doing double row of stitching to make it center and identical. Using a ruler or rotary cutter and ironing as you go helps, too.

    The blue shirt is typical eastern wear of south asia like Pakistan, India and here it's called Kameez. The flip came out amazing as usual 🌻

    The white blouse was plain in the video. But, on the title screen for the video, the white blouse has blue embroidery added to the sides. I really liked that a lot!

    A really cool project! Would be cool to have a matching scrunchie with the blue top. Like making one that matches the ruffles or is big. Could be a cool way to dress down the top imho.
