Just realized that once this gets out to the public and with ppl who have all the other packs installed the in-game calendar is going to be giving notifications all the time. Now aside from all the holidays and events there will also be cottage living events. Talk about sims getting stressed from their calendar being full-booked. 😂
This is already happening. I'm watching an interior decorator let's play and the top left corner has an event going on too often. I can't imagine how annoying it's going to be with the addition of multiple extra events
@@shawn.spencer Yeah, I'd say that the events were somehow manageable with only Season's and City Living. Once the Snowy Escape came out my game has events going on almost all the time. I know you can delete holidays from your game calender, but you have to do this separately for each save file. And it would sort of defeat the purpose of having Season's. Really wish we would have maybe a separate way in the game for managing holiday events and world specific events like festivals.
@@Makeuphedgehog Definitely been ignoring more festivals, especially considering they overlap sometimes. In my game the Festival of Lights occurs at the same time as the Spice Festival.

The whole point of the ending of Pride and Prejudice is that Darcy cares about the land he owns and the people on it. When Lizzy visits Pemberley she’s impressed because Darcy is not a dandy who wastes money, but a serious planner and caretaker. Which I think this is something separates the Gentry and the Bourgeois.

Most eggs in Germany are also not white but like a tan/brown color and don’t have to be kept in the fridge. We mostly do though, idk why
in the US we do also have brown eggs, and they dont *have* to be refrigerated, just most ppl do
You can get all different types of colors of eggs. I have my own chickens and they lay brown, white, blue/green eggs. It depends on what type of chicken breed you have as some chickens lay different colors. I also live in the USA and some people do not refrigerate while others do. Also I know in Mexico most places there do not refrigerate their eggs, especially not at the grocery store.
@@crstph from what I know you have to keep eggs refrigerated if they’re washed which, again if I’m not mistaken, most of the eggs sold in USA are in fact washed.
@@elif6908 that's it! Regulation in the US requires that if you produce more than a certain amount of eggs, they need to be hosed down. But because eggshells are porous, when you put water on them they can absorb whatever bacteria was on the outside, which means hello salmonella if they're not refrigerated. So whatever country you're in, if you wash your eggs you should keep them in the fridge

We have a lot of old slate fencing/walls like that in kentucky. i was always so fascinated by them as a kid because we used to pick up slate and slam it down to break it up. it’s actually quite fragile but when they’re stacked up flat against each other they make for a very strong fence.

America does have 2 types of gravy. A white chunky gravy, usually used for breakfast over busicuits (not cookies). And then a brown gravy used for dinner and it goes over meats and potatoes.

My uncle owns a farm pretty far up north in Wisconsin. I swear the eggs are just amazing. They come in all different shades of brown and just taste so much better than store bought eggs

The colour of eggs actually depend on the little flap on the chickens head, if it's brown, they lay brown eggs and so on.
Also as far as I know eggs in the US have to be refrigerated because they're washed before they go into stores, an absolutely unnecessary step that makes them a lot more prone to salmonella

In Michigan, USA we have brown eggs in our stores along with white eggs. Plus some farmers sell them in front of their houses and color varies depending on what breed of chicken it's from.

I actually really like the wind-y park design, personally ☺️ In irl landscaping, you build curves in a road to invite a pause. Especially because in real life, I move quite slowly, the spaces built to rest and watch are really nice. I think it would be a good spot for first person cam

Oooo in Finland we have mostly white eggs but we also don't have to keep them in the fridge. My mom works at farms and she always says you can eat eggs two to three weeks past the "best before" or expiration date and I've never had a spoiled egg!
