Granblue Fantasy Relink's final weapon is called the Terminus Weapon. This is the strongest weapon in Granblue Fantasy relink for most characters. This guide is going to cover how to farm it fast and improve your chances. 8 Terminus Weapons, and some really nice endgame sigils still looking for zetas
I made it to the bahamut versa fight last night. Had to reroll my main cause lancealot was starting to give me carpal tunnel syndrome.
I'm grinding my first character to level 100 Percival, he is super strong and stuns are insane! I did a review on my channel for this game too because I love it so much

Just finished story. Lvl 45 so going to take some time. Some people rushed so much
just as a side note: failing a purple bar is a failed quest instantly no matter what, failing a orange one is just a load of dmg which can wipe a party, but can be skipped with invincibility or other sheninigans : this applies to every quest

Tfw they use it 2 seconds too early or too far from a spot the rest of the team can see and get to. D;
But yeah, a good one is effing God-tier for team support.
Something to note about this guide, it’s actually more beneficial during the SBA portion of the fight to do 2 sets of 2bursts rather than the 3burst followed by the 1burst like you suggested. Reason being is that after any SBA combo more than 1 SBA, it will do a finisher attack based on the initiating player’s element. This finisher attack re-downs the boss again after the SBAs are all done, giving more time to wail on the boss. With only 1 SBA, however, no finisher happens and it is only the SBA itself.
In your example with 3burst then 1burst, it would be:
1. SBA #1 hit
2. SBA #2 hit
3. SBA #3 hit
4. 3burst finisher hit
5. SBA #4 hit
Whereas the 2/2 method would look like this:
1. SBA #1 hit
2. SBA #2 hit
3. 2burst finisher hit
4. SBA #3 hit
5. SBA #4 hit
6. 2burst finisher hit
As you can see, you end up with one more instance of the boss getting caught in animation lock from attacks and so the rest of the party has much more time to throw out extra dps.
Another little tip to make this method even better, which is a bit more risky unless you know who uses SBA in what order, is you wait until the last second of the chain chance window before using the second SBA in each 2burst. This forces the boss to stay down just ever so slightly longer than normal and those extra seconds can easily be the difference between your buddies getting off those big hits they were working toward, and simply not having time to get there.
The final thing to note is, in a good party using this strategy, your link gauge should be at 100% or close to it by the end of all this SBA chaining. If it isn’t quite there, popping your blue potions can give that extra last few percents. Most of the time you will be able to enter link time right around when he starts getting up from the second 2burst so you are able to squeeze in that last bit of dps before he finally leaves. Most good groups that execute this properly will either delete him during this phase before he can even leave, or leave him low enough that he will get up and do his initial overdrive mech with the purple magic circles on the ground, and then immediately go to the front of the ship for the final phase.
Tl;dr: do 2 sets of 2bursts during SBA phase, not 3burst > 1burst. Try to aim for link time after both 2bursts, using blue potions to push to 100% link gauge if needed.

Honestly it doesn't even matter when you grab the character because once you get a terminus weapon then that specific weapon is automatically removed from the reward pool meaning no duplicates.
Well it matters because it lengthens the farm when you want a specific one
@@aerialjohn8631 it's still rng based so since there's 7 non ticket characters(Captain, Katalina, Rackam, Io, Eugen, Rosetta, and Id) you could just get 7 terminus weapons before even getting the one you want. That's why weapon awakening for ascension weapons exist so it can be used as a place holder until you get the terminus weapon

Light, light heavy, heavy attack for best dps on vane btw :) and every hit from the final heavy counts as combo finisher (for his cooldowns/any combo finisher boost dmg)
Another side note: concentrated fire work for cannons! More dps on cannon ;)
This is a very helpful. I just made it to Master difficulty last night with Zeta as my main so hopefully I’ll be ready for Proud once I start my grind

Ive done this quest 30 times and only gotten 3 weapons, honestly, there should be an update to improve the drop rate or at the very make the drops guaranteed but still random, especially since this fight has a one hit kill move if you don't do enough damage at the end. Even Monster Hunter didn't have drop rates this low
That first proud boss for the rank up kicked my ass repeatedly. I hope I can do that online cause my npcs cant pass DPS check.
Definitely doable online, if you are like me though and dont have a full 4man team with 100% offense/defense masteries then now is the time to grind some Slimepede and knock that out lol. Rakham is a great AI Companion for pure damage if you're not using him as well.

It was a fun experience for me. Luckily got matched with people that were down to retry after each wipe and we’d get further each pull till we cleared it
Save your SBA for the dps check, it usually work. Also get your AI/yourself stun power, it help to break boss
Okay, I cleared Proto Bahamut in a random group on my first try, didn't even arrange with anyone in a discord server. This guide showed all the mechanics clearly, how to resolve them, and so on. For that, I thank you.

Great vid, im stuck on Bahumut Versa quest to get promoted to proud lol. I get him to near death but i cant pass the final dps check fast enough. Gotta grind more i guess
Ive been doing mostly a holy Trinity party of DPS,Support,tank, Secondary dps.
This party is Narmaya (main),Cagliostro or Main character (not sure whos ultimately better as a support but both are built, im leaning towards caglisostro) Vane as tank and Rackam as ranged secondary DPS.
You can try saving your link time and your sba art so that you're able to get more time during the final dps check
Exactly the same for me, got him to 2% today, not a fan of the dps check mechanic, got to grind some more I guess.

Took me several attempts, but I managed to get it last night with a somewhat similar group. I play Narmana, then used Cagliostro, Charlotte, and Zeta. I used the SBA for the dps check at 50% and then had another up for the final 5% dps check. I did have to use Potion Hoarder and Auto-Revive to get it my first time.
Unfortunately with the way damage cap works right now there isn't much point in a "support" unit as you would normally have in other games. You're gonna hit the cap with or without Phantasmagoria, so you might as well run another DPS unit. I recommend Siegfried since his stun power gives you link time more often. Good luck!

One of the team I played with didn’t even go to the last stage we killed him when he turned to fire and the smart idea when he drop in the ship use ur own art or move alone when he tries to get up again another member do the same alone same the other team members so that’s the monster can’t get up and u have the chance to end it here. I hope u understand this is the best way to do it fast.
PS. The horns are not optional if you plan to max out the terminus weapon the boss drops. You'll need 3 to max the weapon out. Your goal should be to get a horn break, the boss will die eventually,...or not, but at least you'll get a horn out of it. Try to factor in 200 stun power if you can for an easier time, and use high stun skills on his head whenever convenient.

i am on proud but i don't find his fight... i have the multi boss fights the elemental drakes and the promotion quest to proud or what it was
I'd like to try other characters but knowing this, I'm stuck with the starter 6 until lvl 100 when unlocking other characters saves you many hours of leveling and grinding.
Stuff like this why I'm afraid to open any locked chests just in case they are something that scales with your level and are exponentially more valuable if not touched until endgame.
Im still on bahamut versa, nothing before him was a challenge so I wasn't prepared for the dps check bs, got him down to 2% today but then insta death. Need to grind some better sigils.

@@HotRefuse if you are talking about the final boss for the story you don't need damage cap at all. Just use 3 damage characters with decent weapons and Gran with his support skills.

I wish i knew this from the start. I unlocked a new character as soon as i got a crew voucher. Now the grinding will potentially take too long.
Having known in advance that I could increase my chances for my Lancelot, Percival or Ferry weapons, Daaaaamn I would have not recruited all the other that fast!!
But, I really am enjoying the Proto Bahamut fight and going at it in 4-6 minutes a run, I dont mind now! Already got 6 weapons!

@@zdkr_4ii I was really surprised too! Random group and we kicked Proto's ass! We sometime got it to 22-27% before he can enter the SuperNova phase! So we kinda stuck together for a good 10 runs!

@@nchirico6202 I cant really remember! It was on PC and it was around maybe 11am-1pm EST, pretty sure there was one since there was Poison damage! But I remember we were able to not have to go to the purple bar sometime!
@@shynkx oh im on PS5 and and eugen main my best was 4 minute clear with 2 narmaya and cagliostro Absolute destruction farmed like 1 hour with this team and got 5 terminus weapon sadly still not for eugen
How sure are you that the game doesn't first decide if it will roll a weapon, then check if you have the character unlocked and if you don't just void the drop?
Was it confirmed by the developers?
If it wasn't and if they've possibly implemented it the way I said above, you're actually hurting your chances at getting terminus weapons to drop by not unlocking more characters.

Quick question, how much damage cap level do you actually need?
At end game you need to max it out at lvl 65. But just make sure you’re hitting the damage cap before adding another sigil before end game

They gotta fix the drop rate or make an exchange system for the Terminus weapons..the drop rate is terrible..smh

I was very under lvl in proud found ppl to carry and all I did was Dodge and not die as well as assist with link time etc

Droprate is apparently 5%, so one run in 20 on average.

Yes, try and get your mains Ascension Weapon fully upgraded asap. By the time it's fully upgraded, you'll be close enough to Proto that is a better time investment to just farm Terminus at that point

I don’t get the first strat. You mention early not to unlock characters you don’t intend to play right away at the beginning, but as it goes on it sounds like having more characters unlocked increases your ability to get weapon parts for the main you play. Am I missing something? It almost sounds like we should unlock all characters prior to beginning Terminus Weapons if we want better drops. Or, is it the other way around? I cannot tell.
Its randomized so when you get a terminus it can be for anyone from the pool of unlocked characters
Guts is a great sigil for it with auto revive
it so kind of the devs to make unlocking characters nerf your save lol
I mean this is kind of like extreme trials in ff14 weapons best in its class til next update that adds crazier weapon it's supposed to be a grind with some RNG this fight looks like so much fun
the fight is hella boring. its a tedious grind. so yeah, unlocking the full roster is def a nerf to your save file. wish i knew this earlier. im at roughly 90 proto kills and have gotten 6 weapons so far, which of i dont want to use any cause their characters are boring/dont appeal to me. well played cygames@@sorina9130

Would be nice if it dropped the weapon for specifically who you cleared with though? Or just outright let you select which you get by crafting it with a material from the boss.

I get mvp as eugen 98% of the time at this stage, using eugen makes things faster. i put three grenades ahead where the crystals spawn so you can 1hit destroy them when they spawn.
During the part where bahamut fires that insta kill breath where you run to the side, I plant three grenades ahead on the part where he lands after (left side of the boat) you can also paralyze him if you equipped eugens skill. My grenade hits for 400k+ so planting three is insta 1.2m+ at the start of the phase. (So much more if you have sup damage sigil)
SPAM ALL BLUE POTIONS FOR LINK METER you get link points when for using blues, this one I wish all my party knows.
During LINK TIME immediately spam grenade. They insta explode during that time.
In order to platinum the game, I believe you need every weapon, so those who plan on doing that probably don't need to worry about unlocking every character whenever.

I think you can get it regardless of the grade
You get the terminus weapon regardless of the rank but the higher the rank the more chest you get at stage clear.
Higher rate = higher chance to get it due to chest quality
I unlocked all the characters idc as they're all lv 60. Just wanna play them all and not wait lol

The first point you covered is super important for Terminus and Awakening Sigils.
Do NOT unlock characters who you don't plan to use right away. Doing so enlarges the drop pool, which makes it harder to get the Terminus weapons and Awakening Sigils for your specific main characters. I'm almost tempted to start over because of this.
Are terminus weapons better than awakened ascension weapons?

First time I fought Proto, the team burned their SBA's super early, and we didn't have the DPS to finish the final phase.
If he fully charges it, he evaporates the ship, forcing a game over.
I will never pop an SBA if it throws off the timing, and I'll do my best to make sure we use the SBA at 15% health or less, as we can actually skip the last phase entirely by bursting him down, then popping a Link mode to finish off any health.
Great game but like many other jrpgs who truly start after the endgame it begs the question, to what point? The game is already over, there is no pvp, no ladder nothing to actually do to fully utilize your brand new gear. Many people won't actually bother with end game content because it just doesn't go anywhere. Cool game tho
This game is more like a Monster Hunter Game. No pvp needed. You only want to fullly optimize the builds of your favorites characters/weapons.

ah yes unlocking characters gives you exponentially more grind and RNG. classic gbf maneuver
The boss isn't that hard. It has some very predictable pattern of attacks. Some of them are a little bit chaotic, but nothing anyone won't adapt to after seeing it like 3 times or so.
Bahamut has high damage so some skills that increases Hp+ auto revive are pretty good for this fight.
Can I uninvite characters? Be like hey, ill invite ya back once I get Yodarha's weapon. Also I prefer saving SBA for final dps check, wiped way more often using them before sub 20% dps check.

Mate I hate this quest, think I've done it about 60 times and not even 1 weapon drop yet
There is really no need to hold out on a character. You'd want to farm for them all anyway plus the drop rate is not terrible, I am about 50 times in and only missing 5 weapons. Plus some of the weapon drops actually made me try playing the character instead of just sticking to what I'm comfortable with. Also every upgrade on the terminus weapon made your ether cannon hits like a truck mine dealt 500k damage every charged shots currently averaging at 6 mins and a half per run which is good

For me this is the only mistake they do in the game.
This fight is super long and boring and you need to repeat again and again and again for a little drop rate rng on all hero you have and not all hero you USE in the fight.
You are force to play online whit random guys and you wipe 8/10 because you can't do in solo and I don't want play online.....
And yes there is some video on RUclips farm this proto in solo but they have already terminous weapon or pretty close to full build all "farming" party 😑
