This game, what initially is supposed to be a post return to world and pre FF7 rebirth fling, ended up being a full commitment. It is actually good and I have never been familiar to any Granblue stuff prior.
That's so cute to me, someone who almost exclusively plays co op games nowadays and have been looking forward to this almost a decade lmao. It's like I'm seeing testimonies of people discovering the magic I stumbled upon. The more you look into the lore, the more special you'll realize it is too. At first I thought, cool there's dragons I'm in. But then... Maglielle's story can be seen as an allegory for lgbt people feeling closeted and then coming out, fighting against the bigots who abused them. I could go on for days and I've only been looking into the lore thru this game lol I had no idea it was this rich. Do not get me started about the gameplay. You know what's up
Don't forget in the settings, you can set opening/ending cutscenes to autoskip, which is very useful for farming whether afk or actively. Saves about 5-10 seconds per mission. Small time save, but it does add up. I see too many people online without this setting enabled.
Another *decent* farm is the early wyrm fights on Proud mode. They only give 5 large crystals per run but they also give you curios and a ton of materials that you can exchange for a ton of knickknack vouchers. Really good farms for an all around thing. Also do not sleep on grabbing chests around town, some of them can give 8 large crystals.
I used to do the Proud Dragons as well but the 2 Goblin soldiers is way better for large Crystals after testing it. Its faster and Always gives around 20+

No, it should have been 3 minutes max. We don't need to know what the crystals are used for. We don't need other materials And we don't need the obscene amount of rambling. If I'm farming crystals, I know what they are. I also have a team that can do it, so I don't need a walk through on how to fight a damn boss.
Ran into this issue recently myself. Was afk farming the assault mission and spending the coins on the crystals, but this looks much more efficient for crystal farming.
The most profitable AFK farm is tayu'itar mk II. Gives you flawless prism, fortification stone L, and resources to upgrade sigils as well. Just afk farm that with your AI. 10 times is 30 flawless prism, 50-90 fortif stone, and a lot of parts such as shining orb, etc.
@@sangheilicommander1056Farming the airship mission for machine and high grade machine parts gives the best treasure to ticket conversion. 3 - 4 runs of that mission will covert to 999 tickets.
additional little tip for some Crystals - every 3 or so quests run around Folca - open chests and pick blue thingies (they reset every now and then)- will net you total 9 crystals and some other mats
i pretty much optimised the griffin farm at the moment, only lv2 awakening&+99mirage munitions on terminus on all 4 characters 1.30min run everytime: Eugen Percival Zeta Rackam (Fire Element Advantage for the AI, War Elem on Eugen) Eugen: Sumrak, Armor-Piercing Round, Venom Grenade, Paralyzing Bullet Percival: X-Seele, Roter Wirbel, Zerreisen, Macht Zeta: Wingclipper, Infinite Wonders, Vengeful Flames, Spear Of Arvess Rackam: Bullet Hail, Collateral Damage, Spitfire, Coffinmaker 1. Don't lock on the birds at the beginning and shoot only the ones flying towards you, leave the ones that dove to the ground to the AI and proceed to the far right one next and run to the next zone. 2. Run past the two wyverns and let the AI do their thing, shoot one of them once without locking on if you want to make sure they kill them fast and run to the next checkpoint 3. Run past all the way through to the next invisible wall, lock on the far wyvern and shoot Basic Attacks until all die. 4. Lock on the first Griffin and let it fly back and forth while you circle around to his second end point until you're close enough to throw mines reliably, Venom Grenade into Armor-Piercing Round and dodge to cancel APR animation after rifle fires, enter Aiming Mode, throw 2 mines at least at the boss and shoot them to progress link bar. It will then either trigger overdrive in the air or you get a link-attack first and make it fall down. 4.1. It overdrives in the air, as soon as you see the red smoke prior to the overdrive, start aiming with Paralyzing Bullet and Shoot him while he overdrives, then Aiming Mode, throw two to three mines and DPS it down. 4.1Bis. You get a link attack and it falls down, it will do a double spin move before Overdrive, prep Para Bullet if you don't kill him before that. 5. Second Griffin appears, it will either double dive-bomb or swoop, if it divebombs, get closer and throw two to three mines and shoot them to trigger, repeat step 4.1 or 4.1Bis. as necessary. If the second one isn't dead at this point, get closer when you break it and Sumrak, you can hit it very reliably even with the recoil since it's body is big and you're really close. It’s not an hour when it prompts you if you would like to continue to repeat the quest - it’s a total of 10 completed runs (regardless of how long it takes).
the auto repeat goes around 10x which is around an hour on quests like this (4min + ~1min screens etc) so if you auto farm other quests that go faster you have to adjust
I'm not sure if this has been talked about, but there are 2 quests that you can loop on Folca where you can get 1400 mastery points in total and some other materials endlessly for just some shards once you complete it goto the quest counter and play online and the quest will pop up again complete it and leave online mode and the quest will pop up again on offline mode just keep repeating it. Managed to go from 50% mastery to 100% (on one character) in around 15 minutes (providing you have enough shards)
this sounds like the maniac mission that you just kill a crap ton of slimes and if your lucky a rainbow slime spawns and if you kill that you'll get like 12k msp a ambrosia and 5 ingots and azure splendour
It's actually 10 rounds before the afk farming stops,guys. So 4 minutes per round, plus 1 minute of post battle screen... that's 50 minutes total. You can technically make a macro to press W + Click after 50 minutes...
2 goblins drops more crystals. On average I was getting 28-37 from goblins from griffins it was 20-27 if I’m lucky. About the same time considering I one shot all the ads.
You can AFK extreme level quests for better rewards. Yeah I know auto mode doesn’t work in extreme. Set up your best DPS characters to attack. Now you set your main character to regen, auto revive and have guts equips now make your character hold block. I do that with a rubber band around the controller. You just stand there and your team handles business.
If you want your character to also do decent DPS it can take a bit of thinking, but yeah, it's super easy. The problem is the game can and will crash with macros, so you might get 8 hours, or you might get 1.
Rackam as your main character on afk farming with the specific character sigil is the best one to use. It has an increase attack range due to the sigil. He can reach almost anyone on a defend quest. Its not optimal to use a melee as your mc on afk farm since you can only hit an enemy that reaches you since you are not moving. Melee npc runs towards the enemy.
Thanks for the little guide, crystals aren't the most fun thing to farm That stout heart sigil in comparaison, while it's a little stingy to get (for me the human boss droprates were low compared to the golem, funnily enough only had to do three runs for 5 pieces), at least it was really fun to sit through. I just wanted to keep going. What a weird game, I'm not even fatigued from playing it yet.
Thanks for the video, was using those same quests for L crystals. BTW you don't need that Stout, you can just get Steady Focus as a secondary stat on + Sigils
I've been doing an AFK farm for this on a defence quest called Shedding Light on the Pillar. Repeat 10 times and i have 450 +- M crystals and between 50-100 L crystals.
All im gonna say is...i just maxed Lancelot on PC and am starting maxing Id and by max I mean...max weapons, awakening, masteries, sigils...Send help...please
I have the worst luck on terminus weapons. I only have 4 characters left without terminus and still haven't gotten Id's which is the one im playing as, at this point I might as well stay commited and get everyone's terminus weapon
It could be a PNG with quest names and a brief description. As most guides on RUclips. I go over farms for every progression point in the game with chapters so you can skip to the one relevant for your needs.

You should do a curio farm because for the love of god, you can only get war element/ sup dmg sigil from curio, and you can only get 1 curio from doing a quest and it not even guaranteed, and i have appraised about 200 curio, only got 2 sup dmg IV sigil.
Been getting a curio every time I run proto bahamut, spent 4 days so far farming for weapons. They have a bad drop rate but do get a curio every time and it rather easy fight imo. Prob better places but I still have some weapons to get so I'm in there. Would t mind finding a silver centrum (I think I spelled that right) farm, I can't seem to find anywhere that drops them and they are needed for weapon upgrades

Can you make a Eugen guide? Nobody else seems to care about him. I am leveling him up now to be a support dps AI teammate but he could also be fun to play sometimes.
@@jenova2916 I like him for paralyze, poison, and healing. Plus ranged characters seem much better for the AI so I have Rackam, Eugen, and Gran for AI then my main is Katalina rn but also going to try out Yoda.

i tried teh afk slime one. i tried that and after a little while i find myself back in town when i check in on game. i think they fixed the afk after too long, unless u know something i dont
Like I say in the video, after a while the game asks if you want to continue, after about 40 to 50 minutes it asks you if you want to repeat the same quest again, kinda like when Netflix asks you if you’re still watching.

@@rurikhanyou are correct. Rackam wins in ease of use and versatility since he doesn’t need to plant himself down. But eugen stomps in damage as a trade for that mounted mode.

My enjoyment from video games comes from the gameplay itself. This is the strangest elitist attitude I've come across online in a long while. You say 'easy way out' as if repeating quests and getting the same mats is actually difficult, fun, and engaging. It isn't. It's just tedious and gets annoying after a while. Because people find grinding the same stage dozens of times that they can already beat, just to get upgrade progress a chore. People will always find ways to optimize grinding. Because we'd rather just jump on to the actual hard quests for the real fun of the game. It's fine to do quest repeats for some rare drops here and there, and for mastering an actual hard encounter. But you dont want your players feeling they hit a brick wall where the solution has to be stuff like this.
For a material like this or the mastery points you just need such a rediculous amount (and you gain so little) that it's not a fun experience to repeat the active missions over and over to get the materials needed. Especially if like you saw in the video your already powerfull so it's not a challenge, your not actually engaged with the game. It's just a time sink to max out a character you can max out 5 or 6 characters while actively playing, but why would you if you can get the repetitive stuff out of the way while doing the household chores or walking the dog?

This is so helpful. I didn't put too many levels into all the other weapons because I found getting these crystals kinda annoying.
The quest great goblins of fire also seems to give a good amount.
I generally get about 40 mediums and 7 largest. It's super fast
Mediums are shite tho unless u farm em between 2/3 min max

You don't need to do extreme. you can even AFK on proud .. just put a tank as your main and all defensive sigils
I found you want either 2 paralyze and maybe a slow. You’ll kill griffin before 2nd comes out

You still have to hit A or mouse left click for the quest to start anyway so you can't really "AFK".

Yeah the first patch fixed the infinite afk farming, so no it only does 10 runs without input
There is no Timer, u can do 10 attempts full auto, than the Pop up appers
Can you make a Eugen guide? Nobody else seems to care about him. I am leveling him up now to be a support dps AI teammate but he could also be fun to play sometimes.
Eugen can dish out crazy amounts of damage. I don't play him but i had an Eugen in my Team at Proto Bahamut and He was crazy strong
@@jenova2916 I like him for paralyze, poison, and healing. Plus ranged characters seem much better for the AI so I have Rackam, Eugen, and Gran for AI then my main is Katalina rn but also going to try out Yoda.

i tried teh afk slime one. i tried that and after a little while i find myself back in town when i check in on game. i think they fixed the afk after too long, unless u know something i dont
Like I say in the video, after a while the game asks if you want to continue, after about 40 to 50 minutes it asks you if you want to repeat the same quest again, kinda like when Netflix asks you if you’re still watching.

Eugen deals more damage ( I think! ) but rakam is easier to use imho.
@@rurikhanyou are correct. Rackam wins in ease of use and versatility since he doesn’t need to plant himself down. But eugen stomps in damage as a trade for that mounted mode.

I don’t understand why people do this AFK method. If you don’t want to play the game then don’t. Seems boring to me going the easy way out
You say 'easy way out' as if repeating quests and getting the same mats is actually difficult, fun, and engaging. It isn't. It's just tedious and gets annoying after a while. Because people find grinding the same stage dozens of times that they can already beat, just to get upgrade progress a chore. People will always find ways to optimize grinding. Because we'd rather just jump on to the actual hard quests for the real fun of the game. It's fine to do quest repeats for some rare drops here and there, and for mastering an actual hard encounter. But you dont want your players feeling they hit a brick wall where the solution has to be stuff like this.
For a material like this or the mastery points you just need such a rediculous amount (and you gain so little) that it's not a fun experience to repeat the active missions over and over to get the materials needed. Especially if like you saw in the video your already powerfull so it's not a challenge, your not actually engaged with the game. It's just a time sink to max out a character you can max out 5 or 6 characters while actively playing, but why would you if you can get the repetitive stuff out of the way while doing the household chores or walking the dog?
