Great job Jonathan! I had a similar issue just last week lol I went to unplug the sensor.... No wire! Wtf? 30 minutes of climbing on top of the engine searching for the damn thing knowing that when I found it I'd still have to solder with very little space .... I hate jobs like that even if no parts are required 🙈😂😂

Good point, Steve. I thought most oil pressure sensors these days are just switches, but this one is giving real time pressure data after being replaced.

There is 2 oil pressure sensor for Chevrolet Malibu LS 2015. The one on the top of engines and the one under the engine. Are those 2 sensor the same size?

Just replaced one in my 2013 Malibu and getting the connector off was a pain in the butt.

No you dont need to. Just be sure the engine is cold so you dont burn yourself.

With a large socket or wrench. No special tools

Is there a reset you have to do? I have replaced this 3 times still check engine light and same codes come up. 2005 Chevy Malibu. 3 pressure switches and one connector replaced. Going broke here...

@@jayycee1284 on mine the new sensor we installed was faulty. The second one worked. Make sure you get the ACDelco branded one. GM cars will work only with most ACDelco branded parts.

Both. Technically its a android phone running a diagnostic program but its sold as a diagnostic tool , not a phone. And it has no features that a phone has. Its just for diagnostics on cars
