Went in the one of my local gun stores to pick up some powder and look around. About the time I was walking out I noticed the Bul 9mm. Looked at it for a while admiring everything about it. Bought the pistol as they only one they had and I wanted it. Didn't know much about Bul but could tell it was quality. $749.00 out the door. Love it. Great choice

My BUL Government 9mm came with two - 10 rd. BUL mags.
I’ve had a .45 Commander in layaway in my local shop and I’m about to pick it up here in about a week or so. I’m hopeful. lol I’m also blind. So that’s actually reassuring that I’m not the only crazy person wielding a powerful handgun with bad vision problems. Hey we have to protect ourselves too. And how’s the BBQ? Haha
I was very interested in this gun, nearly bought one. I fortunately didn't as I found out shortly before buying one that it didn't have a "barrel bushing". This made it ineligible for IDPA or USPCA competitions. Apparently some do have this bushing, but not the only ones still in the pipeline, or any "bull barrel" gun. Too bad their not legal in these competitions. 😞 Otherwise a really nice gun for the money. Just in case you were looking for one for competition. I called their tech support, and they confirmed that this is true.
Some di but unfortunately this model doesn't. I prefer a barrel bushing jusy because I'm a traditionalist at heart
Good video! I have been doing some research on Bul 1911’s. Came across your video and also discovered I’m super close to Tamarack Armory and have never even heard about it! I’ll have to go check them out.
Have you gotten your hands on 1 of these yet? How close to tamarack armory are you if you don't mind my asking? It's about a 15 minute trip for myself

Give Tamarack Armory a message or Google Tamarack Armory Meadville, PA and give them a call. There for awhile the only versions of these they were getting was the 9mm. Idk if they currently have 1 in stock but if won't hurt to ask and i know they ship if necessary.

You are correct its called knurling on the front strap.. Only bone heads that dont know there own hand if it back handed them multi times call that checkering. Checkering is a wood process down on grip surfaces and stocks. Ive done knurling a lot but mostly done on motorcycle handle bars another things a lot of chumps dont know squat about.

Thats becaaue I am blind. Just becaaue i have a disability doesn't mean my rights change. I'm of sound mind and judgement, which means when it comes to a self defense situation firearm or not I can use sound judgment to defend myself. The problem is most people who "see a problem" with myself and other blind persons owning firearms only assess a self defense situation from their own perspective. They don't take into account that myself and the majority of blind firearms owners realize we will not be making any long shots. Our self defense situations are going to be very close and very personal. Often hand to hand or worse an assailant on tip of us. Please don't limit my rights by your narrow scope of view. 👍 I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.

Videos where I have time to actually think out what I am going yo say aren't nearly as bad. However initial impression/ inspecting videos, it's hard to think those things out and Give an honest forst impression unless pre analyze it. Danged if I do and danged if I don't
