When you put your boot on the rear suspension to force it down to get the spring out, did you notice the rubber brake line that droops down from the upper portion of the rig? On mine, this pressure on the axle on one side would almost rip that brake line apart.....I had to loosen it at the clip up above to allow it to flex a bit more. Better check....you may have damaged your upper brake line.
Should of put a before and after pictures of the truck. I got the same Montero with only a 2 inch BL with 33's. Interested in doing this suspension lift too.
Hey did you think about changing your bushings at the same time? How did they look? I'm halfway through mine and it's a fkn saga, thanks for posting this vid really helpful :)
Helpful video, thanks! I might be missing someone here, but the lift kit offered by Rocky Road is 1.25", I am looking at their 1991-95 Long Wheel Base Montero kit. Is this what you used here?

Just ordered a set of OME torsion bars and springs along with new ball joints, etc. and poly bushings all around. Are the torsion bars marked for indexing?
You’re right. I usually grease up all my serviceable fittings every oil change until I hear it start to come out and I move on. I should probably clean those up.
i have a 2000 montero sport, do you think should i have to buy the 2"kit with the torsion bar or without? i mean only with the rear coil spring and the front shock should get the 2"?
You do 4 inch or even 6 inch lifts on this type of suspension, but then you have to replace a lot more than just coils and shocks. $1000 upgrade turns into a $4000 upgrade for only a few more inches
Right on man thanks for posting this! Drive Wild!
Love that white roof!
Thanks for the video man . This came in very helpful for me today
Thanks that helps a lot.. Why did you stop uploading videos ?
Can we see the montero lifted going off roading??
That cross bar is a SWAY-BAR.
That’s a panhard bar big dog.
What happened to the rear sway bar?
It looks like the link you posted for this kit is labeled for a montero sport. Will it still work

Does the shocks come in pairs or they come seperately?
I bought this as a whole kit that came with all 4 shocks.
Hi, did the front suspension got stiffer with the OME bars? Or is it just like stock torsion bars?
Hi! Why do u need to disconect the peanhard bar?
Nice, but can you please, tell me what are the differences between the new one and the old one torssion bars ?
They're stiffer.
Hello there ! I have a 95 Montero LS. I’m trying to get parts , can you share spring Coils P/N?

Robert Cipriani yes they are.
Are those kits available for the 1996 H57A Pajero Jr?
your front ball joints look kinda mummified, is that some secret preservation method?

Hey mate, did you remove brake lines?
No. Just be careful that you don’t damage them
I'm debating whether to do a 1.5" or the 2" lift. I have a 2003 Montero/Pajero with 285 wheels. What would you recommend?
I would go with the 1.5” so there is less wear on your cv joints
@@halonjim6788 ordered a 1.5" lift suspension from OME today. Thanks for the input! Btw, do you have any photo comparisons between a 2" & 1.5" lift?

...this fits to mitsubishi montero sports 2014 model?
All of the parts are hyper specific from generation to generation so I don’t think it will fit. However the procedure is probably very similar.
It is pronounced old man eem you
Please... It’s pronounced Eem you
