  • Every touchdown of Carson Wentz's career with the Eagles! Wentz had 121 total touchdowns; 113 pass TDs and 8 rushing TDs. His best season was in 2017 when he threw 33 TD passes, breaking Sonny Jurgensen's Eagles franchise record for passing touchdowns in a season. That 33rd TD pass was thrown on a torn ACL, an injury that has certainly had its effects on both Wentz and the Eagles organization as a whole. I hope you enjoyed the video! Subscribe if you enjoyed! :)
The big question right now: Will Carson Wentz be traded?
2/18/21: Well, the answer is yes. Thanks for everything. Good luck in Indianapolis.
Wentz Eagles totals: 113 Pass TD, 8 Rush TD
    2016: 16 Pass TD, 2 Rush TD
    2017: 33 Pass TD
    2018: 21 Pass TD
    2019: 27 Pass TD, 1 Rush TD
    2020: 16 Pass TD, 5 Rush TD

I just realized what happened with him. Previously, I believed it was flying headbutt from Clowney, and I was right. It wasn't the injury itself, though. It was that he had FINALLY gotten to the playoffs for the first time in what, five season? He fought so hard every year to get there, but after five long grueling years of watching others succeed, he was going to get the shot he had earned in 16. Except three plays in Jadaveon Clowney became a human torpedo with arms at his side, and he dove landing a flying headbutt to the back of Carson's head. On top of that, the NFL said it was categorically a clean and properly executed flying headbutt. So, why fight if it doesn't matter?

A great talent that was destroyed by his development team, scapegoated by his gm and coach who then drafted a qb in rd 2, when we need on field talent, sign a vet to help carson learn. Notice that when we won the sb they didnt try to keep a lot of the role players, and when Reich and QB coach John defillipo left, it felt like the offense was lost. Groh couldnt coordinate, and WHY WOULD DOUG opt to not hire an OC at all in 2020? It showed, he was lost. IDK what his future plans were but to be fired just a couple yrs afrer winning a SB immediately ppl speculated and blamed carson. NONONO Carson also was traded. Thank god to Reich. I just thank him, bc without him theres no SB, no 1st rd bye, no hmfld throughout, and Nick dont even get a shot, IF HE WAS A BUST. Hes part of the legacy of 2017 an to hear these ppl. I PRAY Frank and him just pick right back up

Wentz held the ball longer than desired because he had a fucking JV high school team around him and he's a competitor who fucking HATES losing so he forced shit to make something out of nothing. 50 sacks in 1 season is 90% on the O-Line, not Wentz

If the Eagles get him a true #1 WR(Chase, Waddle, or Smith if they use their 1st round on a WR) and the coaching staff can establish a good relationship with him, think he’ll return back to his mvp form. Lurie is the only thing keeping Wentz from being traded, imo. And I think Lurie will pick Wentz over Howie, who’ll probably get fired after next season if the Eagles don’t make a good playoff run.

Wentz needed an O-line and WR talent. Being the perfect teammate had little to do with anything. You can see the decline in play design over the years..but Carson still giving 100% trying to make up for the horrible play calling. This all went south so fast..good coaches weren't retained and replaced by coaches who were in my opinion a downgrade. Add in poor drafting and development 📉 you have nowhere to go but down. Talent only takes you so far. Doug is mostly to blame for this because that Superbowl made him believe in his own hype and that it's a wash, rinse and repeat process. He called the "New Normal". Smdh..😐 He leaned on Carson to a fault, instead of properly coaching him and surrounding him with good coaches and players. In the end, as talented as Carson was here, he could not make up for Doug's regression and the front offices inefficiencies.

I know wentz was getting a little bitchy towards the end but do you blame him , he gets benched when he plays like shit cause of the shit team the organization built for him. If the Commands WRS stay healthy and Dotson progress well in the NFL then Wentz will be a top QB. The Eagles and Colts were stupid. New media wanted to blame Wentz so much because the FO of the Eagles wanted no blame for bad drafts and aging players that stayed injured. They even told a story that a player on the Eagles in 2017 wanted to fight Wentz while being injured together. But when you find out the story was because Wentz did not believe Foles starting the season would of had them as successful then you see Wentz was more than likely right and not a locker room cancer as they want you to think. Foles has his moments coming in to replace another QB and doing well. But when playing a whole season Foles shows his is not that top QB a team needs. I thank and love what he did for the Eagles but he is not reliable top QB option. Plus the Eagles limited his playbook because of his ability is best in the RPO.

It is because of his team, tf are you talking about. I'm not gonna lie, he had a bad year, but the terrible coaching, bang up O-Line, and practice squad receivers. Mahomes, arguably the best QB in the league right now, had both an O-Line that couldn't block and receivers that couldn't catch in the Super Bowl. He didn't even score a TD. If he had that for a season or 2, that's Carson Wentz right there
