  • The Fultz sisters, also known as the Fultz quadruplets, were identical quadruplet sisters born on May 23, 1946, in Reidsville, North Carolina, USA. The sisters were named Ann, Louise, Alice, and Catherine. They gained national attention due to the rarity of identical quadruplet births.
    The Fultz sisters were born to a mother of Cherokee descent and became one of the first recorded sets of identical black quadruplets in the United States. Their birth was significant then, and they were featured in various media outlets advertising PET milk.
    Despite their fame, the Fultz sisters and their parents still lived a life of poverty. In later life, all of them died of cancer, which is said to be the effect of this period of exploitation.
