The Platinum was fun (although a bit grindy) but I will never get over the disappointing Hades Cup. You have 50 levels and the last boss is a big rock that does almost nothing. Seriously? At least Ice Titan and Sephiroth are also in the coliseum.

I went through hell on this one and thought it was impossible… but when I beat it… I was ON TOP OF THE WORLD. Seriously… one of my favourite platinums/games I’ve ever played

Just because I start focusing on another genre doesn't mean I lose interest in a previous one. You will definitely see more horror games in the future on this channel. Really interested in alone in the dark remake for example, I hope it's good
Firstly congratulations with the plat run. And second about the switch puzzle: in my MANY MANY PLAYTHROUGHS. I never saw them in the first place and i cant remember to saw it as a Child. I thought they are just walls with maybe a Treasure chest behind it but I couldn't saw that

I 100 percent agree Guadando Nel Buio is indeed one of the best tracks in the series, along with vector to the heavens, enter the darkness, lord of the castle, darkness of the unknown and Forze Dell Oscurita
56:48 I remember doing this on the OG PS2 version way back when. My neighbor struggled with this fight and I ended up beating it before he did. Hell, I redid the fight with him just to prove a point, and this was back in my late elementary days xD
tbh the disney partners in kh1 are strong but you need donald and goofy specifically for trinities making the disney partners kinda bad since you find a fair few trinities by just expl0oring

Sorry if everyone has said this, this is probably old news at this point, but that button puzzle is very beatable, you can do it while you still only have beast even. I do it every time, i had no idea so many people werent able to do it. There are also many videos of it online, but if you also just dont care about it anymore totally understandable and have a great day! Love the video :)
this issue in question wasn't about whether or not it was doable, obviously it is, you have to do it to progress the game. The point I was raising was regarding the switches that you physically cannot reach because square enix (squaresoft at the time) did not allow the player to interact with those switches which was extremely confusing for me revisiting the game and thinking I was missing a secret when in reality it's nothing at all

Atlantica is my favorite KH1 level :) Tip for the future, abuse your fire spell spam. Everything there dies in 1-3 fire spells and you can launch like 20 of them before running out of magic. Except you wont run out of magic, because every heartless there except for one drops a bunch of magicka bubbles. ^_^ The only tip I have for fighting Lizzo at the end is to give yourself and your whole team elixirs lmao.
Caught up with the bits of the streams I missed. Got me back into the games! Now 34 trophies into my Proud mode run

I absolutely loved this episode. I also looked up on one reddit forum and someone said it was a troll button put in by the developers and that's pretty much the only explanation honestly 😂. But Keep going with the grind

Dude this game on ps2 is just impossible for me to revisit ONLY for one reason and one only that’s not skipping cutscenes. So dying to Clayton or Riku in hallow bastion and having to re watch those cutscenes killed me growing up haha. These remixes are a godsend man.
Was the fact that you can’t skip cutscenes in the Og version because of limitations ?
@@a.lateralus5840 yeah on the orignal version you couldn’t skip cutscenes. They introduced it first in KH2 where as in the final mix of 1 was on ps2 let you do it but at the time was only in Japan I believe.

25:31 interestingly from a recent theory by the community I guess? Some people speculate if in Atlantica is meant to be a magic world since everything that you need to do here is opened by magic. And melee combat feels very bad here. As well as Ursula is in her first form with the cauldron, requires magic. Weirdly it made me appreciate the world a little bit more since that theory has come out.
welp time for you to platinum the rest of the series including emulator trophies for 358 and Coded but also look at the remastered extended cutscenes for them, also play the mobile game both campaigns and watch the back cover movie, hey if you can platinum KH1 and 2 and BBS, then you have what it takes to platinum the entire collection and become the ultimate keyblade master

gummi ship is piss easy as fuck in the ps4 version. if you would like a recommendation as to which world is easiest to complete all 3 gummi ship missions for deep jungle they're pretty easy

whatever happens Kingdom Hearts has a special place in my Gamerheart. I bought the first one just out of curiosity, cause i saw Donald and Goofy on the Cover. Best "blind pick" ever. And KH 2 is such a Masterpiece.
I played the hell out this game as a teen and I didn't know how the beginning choices affected my playthrough. Thanks for explaining. I plan on diving into the trilogy later on. 🙂
I defeated Leon first try, and it didn't occur to me for *years* that it was meant to be a hard fight.
Just listening to that you have to find the special heartless and get a rare item from them are giving me Ni no kuni wrath of the white witch flashback
The reason it does the guardian fight right before ansem is because I’m pretty sure canonically sora loses to it in the beginning and this is him actually being able to defeat it (I know I’m a month late but heard that and it made me question it this was my conclusion)

I'm glad you enjoyed it, but 100%ing it on Steam(not entirely, I have yet to get the speedrun and other restriction achievements) was a miserable experience for me. It took me 70 hours to do everything I can right now and I just don't like the gameplay in the first game.

52:00 simple. most people first time playing didnt know you CAN cast stop on the clock so alot of people hate this boss just cause of how his doom spell works. once you know the clock shit its not that hard.
54:40 well that and also the sheer fact that they basically ran out of colors so sephiroth and other endgame bosses have invisible health. this color bar system stopped being used by kh2 and never came back. so kh2 and on also never repeat invisible health
Dream drop distance is going to be a grind for you because of the dead child soldiers you need to get all to max affinity with

in my mind the only race that matters to win is the first one and if you don't win it then it don't matter how many times you beat him afterwards cuz he won the one that matters. It's a matter of my saiyan pride.

I never thought about that sora's mom never saw him again after that and he never says anything about her
yup, sora's mom is literally never mentioned again and Sora never once makes it a point to check in on her and let her know her son is alive for the rest of the entire franchise. It's pretty fucked up when you think about it.

The very specific reason I don’t use the Disney world characters unless I have to is cuz they often try to take my kills and I have lucky strike. Also Donald and goofy get lucky strike half the Disney allies don’t

I did my playthrough of undefeated, unchanging armor and speedster by playing the game over 100 hours, the ingame time resets to 00:00 after 99:59
yeah I was told about this trick but that's a LOT of extra time to wait when I finished everything in proud mode 50 hours ahead of time, waiting another 50 hours makes no sense might as well start another run

I have plat cs1 3 and 4 I still need to go back to 2 and reverie games are amazing but Boi u miss a couple things u gotta do it all again for some trophies
I'm in need of halp then, no matter what I do even reaching lv68 somehow the final boss in CS1 always outsppeds|damages. I wrote down his patterns and all that a few times I got him low but then he just S-breaks and gg. Rest of trophies are just grind battles|cooking.

Once it's done rest is a breeze, with CS3 I need cooking done and finishing every quest then plat. Any tips for cs1 boss? :3
@Meowmixery level 68 is too low makes the fight rng based grind up to level 72 use the strength/speed buff twice it'll stack and deal more damage on the counters

1:10:10 Shesez has a whole Series called "Boundry Break" where he does exactly that and he has done KH1 and KH2. He doesn't show talk about these buttons in the video unfortunatly and I can't (in my literal 5 minute search) find any other videos like it.
Yeah some viewers recommended I check out his videos during the live stream and when I did as far as I can tell he never covered the buttons so I was pretty disappointed

Kh3 dlc risk taker trophy is life changing. Necessitates a separate hamstrung run. Every win is huge. The data org are hard without restrictions. With restrictions...oof

I uh… kinda make it a point to humiliate Riku on destiny islands in the sword combat and racing cuz I had such a hard time with him as a kid and now I know his moves a little too well
On the PS3 version, you gotta do a separate run for each difficulty 💔
Also, best start for Proud mode is definitely staff and give up sword.
I’m pretty sure you can get the platinum in a single run (on the PS4) if you don’t change any of your equipment and beat it within the time limit.

Wow Riku and Maleficent are entirely different fights when you’ve been keeping up with synthesis and are extremely over leveled. My last run I was level 70 when I fought them…. They fell down

I think my only real roadblock in completing Proud in KH1 was the final boss. Fuckin 10 different stages 😂. I don't have the patience to get through the secret bosses because the bell tower ghost is an asshole and sephiroth doesn't like to give an opening 😂.
Grind to level 80 for the Phantom then he’s piss easy
