- Spotting video @ Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (PHNL/HNL)! Spotting in 7/25-26/19, these days feature some spotting areas that can be found within Hickam AFB for you military spotters. Man, I can't get enough of the F-22s! I pretty much caught them almost all the times I got to spot in Honolulu. Hope you like it! & don't forget to comment, rate & subscribe!

Every so often when my ship would pull out of Pearl and I might happen to be topside, I might be fortunate enough to see one or two F-15's taking off on afterburner out of Hickam, and when they point that nose straight up and are out of signt in a few seconds it's pretty impressive.
THE F 22 IS AWESOME

Sand island beach is a pretty good spot the jets take off parallel to the beach

Where do you spot them? I only know of near keehi lagoon
While one spot is indeed at the end of Lagoon Dr, the other spots are located within Hickam AFB (near their beach and fishing docks).
@@BlueRockerPR is it open to the public?how do you get there? and is it better than the lagoon?
@@fungi4591 I wouldn't say its better than the lagoon, its backlit until at least the afternoon and its a little further away. I personally prefer the lagoon spot over any of the other spots. And you will need either a military/federal ID or know someone who has a military/federal ID to enter the base.
Fighter jets have a much harsher sound than commercial jets I’ve noticed.😐
