F-22's are huge, compared to an F-16, or even an F-18. I saw one flying with a P-51, an F-16, and an F-18 Super Hornet. The F-22 was by far the biggest plane.

By any chance do you have any footage on the day he arrived or Sunday show or when he left on Wednesday? I was out there helping out for that entire week. On Friday and Saturday I was at the show site.

on the ground the thing looks kind of goofy. the control surfaces are *huge*, the canopy reminds me of wraparound sunglasses, and the wheels are like something out of a lego set. still, i played a lot of f-22 sims growing up, and when that thing actually takes off and starts flying, it's gotta be one of my favorite fighter jets

Big control surfaces help with the maneuverability and the canopy is gold because of the coating to help with stealth as well as helping with reducing glare.
