Even though it can't be as good as the book/computer lines you explained, I wonder if P-36 could be considered from a more practical perspective.
Generally that line is equal, but from practical human perspective, P-36 brings a weird shape of castle. B'55 is not necessary. Gote will just do their usual thing and the question is what shape Sente should go for? Their king diagonal will be open if we go for mino. If we go for high mino it takes time... etc. It is a possible idea though :)
