The moment when tony gave Christian a little advice on the christ air, for those that unfortunately didn't grow up with these heros that was a show of old school respect!! 2 of the greatest people to ever step on skateboardz! There were more than a few times I teared up with joy of watching them skate! I will be at the next vert alert!! 50 and still skating! Keeping vert dead!✌️

Growing up and skating in the 80's I was not a Bones Brigade fan. All these years later Tony has been a really great ambassador for skateboarding.
The fact that these guys are still skating, and shredding, gives me hope for humanity.
It’s so comforting to watch all these greats still letting it rip! Reminds me of my childhood
I hope this gets a million views, the energy is so great. These guys just didn't want to stop skating and I'm glad they didn't!

If you had told me at 12 years old that in 25 years time I'd enjoy watching an hour long vert demo on a computer screen and not fast forward it, I'd of spat on your back.
I simply can't express how much I loved this. Every skater, every trick, every attempt, everything.
The street guys getting stoked. The next generation being right there with Sky and Reyssa. Everything.
This is even more crazy now knowing that Tony's femur was still broken during this. Absolute beast.

Sandro still has it. ... Back when 900 was a new thing, nobody did it except for Tony for a long time. But then you could see Sandro do 900 in a vert best trick contest, in his style, 6 feet above the deck. ... Great event.

That flip trick that Andy McDonald did over the gap is insane. And McDonald has always been one of my favorite riders because he always goes for the gusto.
As a 36-year-old who recently started skating (street) again after 19 years off a board, I have a hard time understanding how these guys can still do this.
Tony is like 200 years old, and still manages to have the gnarliest rodeo 5s in the game. 🤷♂️
The difference is that they haven't stayed off the board for nearly 2 decades. They have stayed active on it privately. Their bodies are still tuned for this to a degree because of that.

Sadly, Andy wasn't on fire. I say "sadly" because Andy was as consistent and smooth as he has always been, yet no one ever seems to throw him any props. They just say "he was on fire today"....without realizing that is every single day for him.

I'd never really followed him that closely, and that's a shame because he's fantastic; highly underrated!
Andy Macdonald was killing it out there! Such a huge variety of back to back technical tricks.
They all did great in their own right, but I think Andy stole the show for me.

What kills me the most... is... most people don't understand the hours(hour after hour) out into the bump, bang, and smash your face against the blacktop.... alone no one around time invested into making that ONE trick happen.... that glorified moment of no one but you and silence landing perfect trick... my point? These guys are LEGENDS I'm 46 and I still skate and still board...... no

seeing the legends have an awesome time and still being able to do their thing, kept me smiling all the while.
Man.. some of my childhood heroes, watching Sandro completely fly around, Christ airs and high speed grinds, bobs insane ability to just pull off the unthinkable or what should be possible. This was awesome!

@@shellbournian haha, I listen to Ellis on most of the podcasts... his recent-ish 9 club was great, it was like his "until the wheels fall off" episode. His passion and self acceptance is good for humanity. I love that he has found (or allowed himself to experience) his passion for skating again. And is just sharing that with everybody.

I searched "Christ Air Tutorial" and this was in the the results. More than I asked for by far. Always inspirational and of course Tony Hawk still bringing the most into the skate scene with his many contributions.

I remember when Tony came on his podcast after breaking his leg and saying he’d be ready in 5 months for his demo. I was like no way.

So many memories came flooding back watching the Legends at their best.
I've skated and got to hang with most of them along with Bob Sanderson in the early 90's when they came to the UK.
Lemington Spa boys club vert, at Birmingham Wheels vert and the indoor Dickers wooden bowl. Just love them all.
God I miss those days, I'm going to dig out my board and go skate today.

Pensar que vi Sandro Dias dar os primeiro aéreos no half de madeira da loja Força Local de Santo André em 1986 e ver onde o cara chegou é muito legal

It was amazing but we are doing another one in late August this year.
Sandro absolutely flies! Lincoln too. Such good solid skating all around. I wish Chris Miller was there as I love seeing him skate and he'd add to the good vibe. Staab still blasts and has such sweet ollie airs. Frazier can dance on the lip and fakie inverts are always sick. I knew Cab wouldn't quit until he got it! I was waiting for the Christ air the entire time! Stoked to see this.
Steve's almost 58. Respect.
Sandro Diaz is awesome! All of these skaters are amazing at what they do.
