Dude.....folks don't know how effing good Hosoi was back in the 80's.... First skater to get sponsors outside of the industry......shit he made a fortune from camera companies, swatch watches.....and always had the illest gear......he was welcome in the Hollywood parties too....used to roll in black limos with his crew... True legend.....💪
And not even just skate. Cab was bouncing back from injury apparently. Watch his speed. His consistency wall to wall. It’s kinda unreal if you think about it. Truly the definition of body in motion, STAYS in motion. 🤙🤙🤙
Dude, Caballero and Hosoi... Imagine skating with these two, your whole life, like Bucky has. They are always smiling and being awesome. You had a bad day, watch a video of them, and suddenly the day gets better, just seeing their smiles. Legends.
The fact that Cab is approaching age 60 and is still skating a full size vert ramp just blows my mind. No one thought skateboarders could keep doing it this long.
No shit huh.....??? The guy went pro at like 12 yes old crazy loco OG man....living legend..... Cab did it all back in the day, for a while he had the longest board slide on a handrail.......just so rad....💯
@@thomasgroh3276 he also held the highest air recorded (11ft.) on regular vert- not mega for like a decade. But all that takes a backseat to his everyday style. Always love to see him skate!
Ya, but he still don't admit he isn't in control of his life........he always has someone or something to blame on his shit but him......just look at him compared to Stevie Cab, Bam looks older and more outta shape, pulling for him but wish he would man up and get back to the old days.....🤡
@@thomasgroh3276 Me and my brother were just talking about that. Watched Steve O's newest podcast with Bam and he's still blaming everything but himself.

Great to see my idols when I was a young skater, still doin it. Haven’t been on a board in years. Fact that skating flows in these guys veins. I can’t believe how fast time goes by. My friends and I would watch a bones brigade vhs before we went on a session and look for chin, all of course just so inspired by what we just watched. So awesome to see these guys.
Seeing Bucky and Cab still skating today is freaking insane man. I remember all those days and nights after school playing THPS 1, 2 and 3 then some of the other games a few years later. THUG 1 was my favorite skating game for so many years...
Everyone was so good to watch, but I especially enjoyed seeing Alphonzo on vert. He has always had one of the best styles on every terrain. Would love to see more vert footage of Alph.
It was crazy seeing Bucky Driving from Restaurant Row in San Marcos to RSF Rd (near where I live) to that skate shop that I didn't know was there in the old Vons Center. I'm turning 60 in March 2023 and I used to work at Thrasher Mag in 1987. I know Cab moved here a few years ago, saw him at the Home Depot and it just stirs up a bunch of memories I had from the 1980's in the Navy in Japan to meeting Cab at his concert in Orinda, CA where I met him I think in '82 and through him met MoFo and got a job at Thrasher. Skate on my Brothers!
Wow! Seeing all those lads skating is something else. All the good memories from my youth joined me as i watched this. I feel blessed. And old - but mostly blessed.
Alf with the E46 M Tree and signature red grip. Nice to see Chis Russell. Jimmy doing Jimmy. Needed more Alex. The Underrated Destroyer Ronny Gomes. Thanks Bucky!
The main thing I love about skating is how stoked other skaters get when you finally stomp something you've been trying. Regardless of how big or small the trick is they get so stoked for you. At the park in my hometown everyone knew everyone else and knew what everyone was working on so when you'd finally stomp it the whole park would be cheering. I miss those days. Don't know how yall can still skate at this level. I took a hipper awhile back on flat ground and was outta commission for a week. Lol. Good to see yall still killin it
This was SOOO satisfying to a winter bound old skater, and I was amazed, mesmerized by Jimmy's hang-time rodeo at the end there, could watch it all day!
11:54 was ridiculous 😱. What a Killer session Bucky!!! Cab and Christian were looking dialed in 👀. Yes.... please do more of these. Hope Tony's leg is doing better. 🍻
All you guys still amaze me! The shoulder cam was hard to watch. I thought you were going to hang up every time except for the FS ollie. Mr. Wilkins is truly on another plane of existence.
I haven’t skated since I was 22 but watching you guys gets me so stoked haven’t had that feeling since skating with the crew back in the days. Good stuff Bucky forever shredding
Love how Bucky is still pushing his limits and pulling tricks I've never seen him pull and he's just messing around with the homies. I also need to shout out the younger generation guys like Wilkins who's connecting the older generation tricks with the newer generation of flip tricks and making it all look new and fresh and buttery. Just warms my heart they're making sure those tricks stay alive as they take the torch and put their own stamp on it. They could easily just toss that history in the trash bin, but they haven't. Massive props out to them.
Frickin loved the sesh! Keep the Vert videos coming Bucky! Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to be a fly on the wall and watch such magic...thank you!
Great video, love it. Hosoi was flying, Jimmy is so good to watch, Chris Russell is scary ( in good way) to watch and good to see Bam hanging out with skaters. Thanks for letting us join the session, these videos are great 👍🏼.
I want to learn how to skate a vert ramp now. I've always been a street / mini ramp skater and stayed away from vert ramps. So cool to see all the older guys with the new generations too. Alf has good taste in vehicles,as I am a little bit of a fan of older BMWs too.
Bucky, you are a superb videographer. I said this many years ago and I'll say it again. I think it would be a huge hit to publish a video or paperback called Tony Hawk's Atlas of skate tricks with vert being the first installment. I know you and Tony did something similar years ago with the trick tips but this would be more comprehensive and not a "how to". I'm 57 and I would buy it for sure. The skaters misname tricks all the time. It would also serve to inspire the kids if they could see step by step or in slo-mo how these tricks are executed. I know you see these tricks all the time but outside California they can be pretty rare to see except through videos.
The heroes of my youth. I am very happy to see that you are still skating today. Goosebumps! Greetz from Germany. Maybe some of you remember the Munster Monster Mastership :)
Seeing Caballero and Hosoi skate still is so rad

It seems counterintuitive but that ramp is way safer than a 6' mini.

I respect all the different kinds of skaters, but vert is BEAUTIFUL, and these vert KINGS are still killin' it!

I love seeing the full range of ages shredding together.
I love the skating community. You make lifetime friends and you never stop being stoked for each other. Love these videos Bucky! 🤙🏼
