So the Slayer not only brought his Night Sentinel Loyalists for this glorious fated battle, but also the Pan Pacific Defense Corps (Atlans), the UNSC (Hovertanks and Fighter Craft), and the Galactic Empire (Space Battleships) to send all of Hell back to the stinking pit it crawled out from.
*If this isn't sheer metal and testosterone, I don't know what is.*

Unfortunately Doom Slayer is under a hell loop. He was already died all this time. He dies in Ancient Gods Part 2 then he wakes up 2016 never ending circle.
@XTRA V1CI0US not really 2016 they never said were they got the sarcophagus. 2016 is a soft reboot of the series. Many other evidence suggests in the game it is a hell loop.

The sarcophagus as one of many evidence. I took film school and also took the art of film class. Everything has a meaning behind it the average viewers easily over look things. The way its edit and giving specific dialog in the script all by design. One day you will understand. If I tell you all I know you won't believe it anyway so I won't waste my time.

remember earth was weaken before hell's invasion. dont forget the human traitors doing sacrifices for the demons and giving the idea that the demons were nice. and lets not forget about soldiers who went inside of hell and recovered the slayer

Round blueish portals are all over the place, prior to endgame, and it's simply ignorance and inexperience that is causing GENZs to claim that _the decision to have spaceships coming through portals is influenced primarily by avengers endgame_ -- that is what I meant by 'copy,' same as op meant by 'inspired'

@Bears Dominate they still are pretty effective against demons and yeah they cant titand but they can fight them and they have 3 types of mechs one which is infantry the one who appears in reclaimed earth and the dark lord earth area which is big but not as the ARC giant mech
@Bears Dominate To compare and contrast, an ARC Mech is a gunboat. Meanwhile an Atlan is a battleship with enough weapons to destroy an entire beachhead.
I wanna see this scene remade into a short film so badly, with just the slayer ripping and tearing while everyone else fights
After watching previews for project ill, Doom looks like what bowser’s dungeon would look like when Mario went to face him lol.

The gameplay visuals are on a level above the cinematic cutscenes in any other game. Truly the maniacs at Id Games are building game worlds that are on another level entirely. I'm almost embarrassed for the competition.

Sorry to burst your bubble but this isn't a prequel, it doesn't go back to doom 2016. Doom 2016 is after the doom 64 events. I haven't played those games but I'm just relaying info that I've heard from others
