Seger is extremely famous here in the U.S. Maybe not so much among the younger generation, but he's been around since the 1960s. I remember his first album in 1968, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, when I was in the military. I loved his music and his voice. He's a phenomenal singer/song writer and he's in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has one of those iconic voices that became part of the music soundtrack of my generation from the 1960s through the 1980s. He stood in stark contrast to the English Invasion music, disco, punk and alternative and he never compromised on the integrity of his style of music (like a rock!) through the period when those other genres/style of music came and went.
I’d pay anything to go back to being 18. Young, strong and ultra positive. Now I’m cynical, old and my knees are fucked, but I’m grateful for my time through the 60’s and onwards. We were blessed to be living in that era.
Time goes by so fast, you're young and strong one minute, then all of the sudden you're 50-something and wondering we're all that time went. This hits it right on the head.
Man, don’t we all remember that feeling? When we were young and thought we were bulletproof? He takes us right back to that way of being and makes us miss it. ❤️❤️❤️ Edit: Wowwww I would have sworn on my momma that he died last year. WTF is happening to my brain….JFC. 😖 Sorry, Bob.
