I still love the paint 🤪
I like you big doggy. I read all your comments and replies to people’s comments on here and you just get it man. We should be buds.
That red color is awesome !!!!👏🏽
I have both the Escalade and a Navigator. If I had to have one, I would choose the Navigator by far. The Navigator has a lot more storage, definitely better gas milage. The Lincoln is more user friendly. If you want to put on the over head camera , just touch a button. The Escalade upon entering you have to pull yourself in by the string wheel, and I think that caused my telescopic steering wheel to stop working after 500 miles. As for the passenger they have to grab onto anything they can to pull themselves in. Lincoln has grab handles. There is no over head compartment for glasses in the Escalade. There is no center console available on the Caddy also. The Navigator has more information in the heads up display including your turn signals. As for the seats the Lincoln blows Caddy out of the water. And massaging seats is standard, with 30 way adjustments. The Caddy seems to be more gimmicky, the Lincoln is more business like. But both cars a beautiful, and most people will be very satisfied with a Caddy, If you never had a Lincoln. And Lincoln service is far better. There are a lot of things that I like about the Escalade, you won't be disappointed.
My old 08 Escalade ESV Platinum is 15 years old, bought it new, now has 402k and still going. I never took it to the dealer for anything. I did the maintenance myself, I’ve replaced all wear and tear part. The only problem I had twice was the rear air suspension which I fixed very easily. The Escalade is bulletproof as long as you know how to break them in properly when you get them new, do your own maintenance and do not take it to the dealer. My Escalade was the family’s road trip vehicle. My Oldest uses it now. I loved the 6.2 V8 plenty of power and torque.
Hell yeah, they're pretty bulletproof. Ya know, honestly, I'd replace that air suspension with standard suspension. I do believe they make a whole kit if you don't want to fool with those damned airbags leaking for the duration of it's vehicle life.
How do you break in?
All facts. But ppl swear by the Escalade 😂
Great video. This made me think twice about getting one.
If you drive a used one...roll up the windows and shut off AC and music and listen for rattles. I'm experiencing rattle issues and dealer says GM has TSBs out to brush off rattle concerns. So many forum threads. Lot of people having rattle issues. If you are going after a new one....be prepared for rattles lol. I didn't have them at the time of this video. Thanks for watching.
GM is known for sticking with the same design and tech for a long time. The competitors switched to things like twin turbos. I think here you get the max performance from a V8 to fuel economy ratio, which is why its slightly underpowered.
Love that color. I’m going to retire my Explorer one of these days, but I’m probably going to be looking at another Explorer or a Toyota.
I like you I think like More Power!
Any recommendations on any other options.
The Caddy is just too large for a daily driver for me.
Great information as always!
Enjoyed your Vlog!
I’m still waiting on my allocation for the ZO6. I’m now #1 at the dealership so hopefully I should hear something this year.
Explorer ST is a fun fast mid size SUV. Toyota has better reliability and value hold tho.
Also, if the ESV sits for 2 weeks or more, you have to jump it… Brand New 23 Sport Platinum with 1200 miles… smh
Happened during my delivery video actually. Dealer went to start it form the showroom floor and it was dead from sitting for a week.
What do you think a the new range rover 3 row extended wheel base
I think it's a really nice SUV but super expensive. Doesn't quite compare to the ESV in terms of storage capacity but love the heated third row and fit and finish. Just costs a lot more then the Escalade does.
Those ewb Range Rovers are super expensive. I hear they're complicated to work on too. More status symbols.
Oh Jesus, NO! Avoid Range/Land Rover like you'd avoid a bum covered in his own shite! They're absolute garbage...
Lease it but if your a pretty well off person do it get what you want
What u think abt gls580?
Sorry I'm not a big Mercedes person so not to familiar with it.
It’s amazing. It’s an S class crammed into a SUV
It'a having a reson to be a decade!!!
🤭😅😅
Cadillac really nailed it with the exterior design of the Escalade, magnaride suspension, and super cruise but the Grand Wagoneer L Obsidian with the HO Hurricane just blows this thing out of the water, IMO. Especially in regards to interior fit & finish, off-road capability with its quadra-drive system, and powertrain refinement...I recently purchased a '23 Wagoneer L Series 2 4x4 with the SO Hurricane, air suspension, and tri pane panoramic roof for my family of 6 and as much as I would love to be engulfed in the luxury amenities of a GWL, my little ones would completely wreck that beautiful interior 🤦🏽♂️🤣
I cross shopped the Yukon XL and Expedition Max before going with the Wagoneer L...I've owned GM and Ford vehicles before but Jeep just did a great job with this new platform.
Agreed. Interior wise Jeep far exceeds the competition. If they redesign the exterior in gen2 to be more bold and clean.....its game over.
Sorry but the 2015-2020 escalade exterior looks way better
@theshield1613 nope, don't think so.
If you think the engine in this Escalade is the same engine in a 2007 Escalade, you sir should not be reviewing cars. This v8 shares no parts with the old LS style 6.2. Yes they have the same displacement, but are much different.
Lol. You may wanna Google the difference between the l87 and l94 platforms. The l94 is just the l86 from 2007 with afm and fuel management. The previous engine was coded l86 and the current engine is the l87. There are component differences but its not a revolutionary difference like you imagine. from 2007 to now ford has gone from a 5.4L V8 to a twin turbo V6. Fca has gone from 5.7l hemi to a twin turbo hurricane. Both have added 120hp over 150 years and GM has added a whopping 16hp lol. Nice try. Thanks for stopping by.
You should consider the grand wagoneer
I did cross shop the Grand wagoneer and it has a far superior interior and creature comforts and tech. The fit and finish is much much better but the Grand wagoneer is hideous on the outside and the value hold is atrocious. So bit of a trade off there
@@JumpSquadAutoi agree. They are butt ugly.
Sale it and stop crying
LMAO@ "sale" it! TF? I know damned well you meant "sell it" because that's just ridiculous...
@@Adam-ub9nu u know what I meant lol
Why change the power train if it still works? It's not a performance SUV, if you want that then buy the "V" version. Not sh*tting on your review at all, but this younger generation thinks a vehicle needs 500 HP at the very least.
The V starts about 60-70k higher...Thats used Urus territory. Having owned a Lincoln Navigator and a Ford Expedition platinum and driven a Grand Wagoneer. My concern with the powertrain is its way underpowered in its segment. Everyone has more efficient and powerful platforms that are just as reliable but this is a dog. For a car that ranges 85k-125k.......it shouldn't have the performance that its competitors had a decade ago.
Love this comment!! ❤❤
