    Note to Dealers (especially the one you bought it from): if I buy a car that doesnt start on that first day due to THEIR laziness or incompetence or shadyness or all three, I tell the delivery guy to take it back & cancel the order. Done.

      @@williebender1895 I understand, not sure if applicable in ALL states, that once you sign on the dotted line when purchasing a car igt's a done deal. I always thought that in MD you had 3 days to cancel a large contract only to discover it doesn't apply on a car purchase. So check your state laws. I had issues with my Escalade and had to get rid of it. As much as I love those big trucks the quality is lacking and the manufacturer warranty isn't always what you think.

    I personally would be leery about buying anything assembled during the pandemic. I’m not sure what the actual manufacturer date is on this particular truck, but with supply shortages, labor shortages and products being rushed through the final quality checks I would definitely be leery about buying anything without first seeing it in person and checking it out.

    I have had 6 Navigators and just bought a 2023 and its amazing. Everything works and its incredible. Best car I have ever had. I also owned 4 Porsches including a [2012 911 turbo S] and like my Lincoln way more. This 2023 Lincoln Navigator reserve is the best SUV I have ever driven. It basically drives itself. Literally, "with the hands free". I cant wait to wake up every morning to drive my car. It has plenty of room in the back and it even massages my back while I'm driving. Wireless charger is perfect and the apple play is easy to use. Kudos to Lincoln for making the best SUV every made. It is a delight to drive this SUV every day. Disclosures - none. I don't have any relation to Lincoln or any of their dealers. I don't have a youtube channel or make any money on social media. Lincoln have never given me anything except free coffee at the dealer when I take the car for service.

    We are the proud owners of our own 2018 Navigator Reserve L and consider your purchase unfortunate. The L gives us sufficient trunk space. However, we have never had an adverse experience with it except the wireless charger and that seems to have been resolved.
    In fact all factory issues sent to our Navigator AP were expediently resolved. So sorry for your experience. Having owned Infinity models, I love our Navigator.

      I feel like some of the issues he had was really with the dealership he had to interact with.
      Like the rear view camera clearly doesn’t work and I’m pretty sure they saw it, they just didn’t want to fix it. The thing about under warranty fixes is that the technicians are under paid to fix them and the dealership doesn’t make any more off of it. So if they can not fix it, they won’t. See what they did with the mirror? They clearly could have fixed it, but didn’t because the car was “wrapped”.

    I must say, other than the "limp mode" fuel pump issue, I don't see much to complain about. The phone charger issue could if fact be your phone rather than the vehicle, maybe not? Something could have happened to the mirror at any time, and if someone was doing something with it to alter its appearance, well?? However they should cover it under warranty. The rear camera is a software update or camera replacement, again warranty. I am sure this was purchased new???? You have comp "pick up and delivery" use it and it takes no time out of your life. Look, with any issues you may have encountered, it is still the KING OF THE HILL IN LUXURY SUVS!!

As far as the $400, if you're not willing to go back in and get your money back then I wouldn't complain about it as it's not their fault you don't have the time. It would appear that you were unfortunate to possibly get a vehicle that was caught up in the issues that Ford had at some of their factories a year or so ago. I bet that's exactly what happened. What kind of person buys an expensive luxury vehicle, notices problems, and doesn't have the dealer fix it immediately? Then just bends over and takes it when the dealer says some protective film voids the warranty. It was ~2 years old, so it should all be under warranty. Something doesn't add up.
    The camera issues seems to be a common problem with many Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Hopefully they have a fix for it by now.

    Hi, I told you when you made your video when you bought your SUV to buy either the Toyota Sequoia, Land Cruiser, or Lexus GX or LX Series of SUV's. Those are roomy and everything on them is SUPER reliable. The 2UZ series engine that's in these SUVs is bulletproof, lasts over a half a million miles. Plus they don't depreciate like a rock like Ford products. A fuel pump replaced after just a year? Come on! What Ford garbage. Today's Ford and GM products are worthless money pits. They're always at the shop. Avoid them at all costs. They will sooner or later leave your wife stranded on the road. I kinda was expecting you were going to make another video regretting your Lincoln purchase. And I was right. Ask your car buddy to advise you to buy one of these. They don't depreciate. It's a smart buying decision. You can buy one that's a few years old and save a lot of money. They're basically new. You can buy an extended warrantee but with a Toyota product, your just basically wasting your money. Lexus trucks are so reliable. Make sure you get one built in JAPAN!

    Seems like the major lack of cargo space would've been solved if the right version would've been bought, the L, which has plenty of cargo space with all 3 seat rows up.
    The wireless charging, while nice, doesn't seem like a reason to ditch such a nice SUV. In reality, someone with common sense would've returned to the repair shop and asked them to properly fix the charging. Or, I'm sure you could've bought about 10 wireless charger USB pads, to keep around the interior, for under $100.
    The shaking drivers mirror, seems like a self inflicted issue honestly.
    As for the delivery issue where they couldn't start the SUV, which did you volunteer to jump it yourself? If you would've let the dealer handle that, they may have been forced to put in a new battery on their own.

    * The L solves the trunk space issue
    * The wireless charger is finicky af, basically this same issue on my 2020 Black Label
    * No mirror issue at all, that's weird
    * No backup camera issues like that, ever. Not once. Very weird.
    * Have, rarely, had to reboot the media system because it was being weird with Android Auto
    * Had a loaner drop dead at a stoplight once; the battery apparently chose that exact moment to fail catastrophically. Not our car, ours was in for annual maintenance
    * Have had a number of cosmetic and other small things that were our fault that Lincoln covered for us during maintenance, but maybe that's getting some credit for being Black Label?
    Overall we love the car.

    depending on your milage i would say everything would still being under warranty is just because the advisor or service manager just wanted to take advantage of the situation the wrapping of the light on the mirror unless it was removed but the person who did it would and should be covered under warranty as i use to be a Lincoln service concierge the bumper to bumper warranty on a navigator or all Lincolns are 4/50 and power train 6/60k so depending on their findings and mostly if you don't take the vehicle directly to a Lincoln dealer ford dealers at times cant do the warranty work linclon shops can just as of now chevy cant do all warranty repairs on gmcs or Cadillac vehicles

    Watching this makes me even more happy I bought a Sequoia. Sure it's not nearly as posh and it wasn't cheap but what's there works incredibly well. As a minivan family I was a little worried but my worries got taken away when it drives like a beefy minivan and it's Toyota quality. So far money well spent. Oh and that beautiful v8 will easily throw you back in your seat making that purchase feel incredible. Just don't look for the SR5 model, go straight for Limited or Platinum. The premium is well worth it. Oh and it's not cheap on fuel. It's quite expensive but it is cheap on insurance. We owned Highlanders and Siennas, all have been cheap on insurance considering, but the Sequoia is somehow is only a few bucks more for us. So it was costly move but not a killer. It feels just as safe too.

    • @wazatna
      @wazatna 7 месяцев назад

      The outdated interior, plastic canvas, and horrendous mpg on the Sequoia turned me away from it - and I was coming from a Sienna which I loved. But the last thing I wanted to do in my new car was endure another day with Entune and the overwhelmingly grey Toyota plastic. Now, the redesigned 2023 Sequoia would have definitely been on my short list when the 3 year leases came in 2026, but the space in the cabin isn't much better than a midsize SUV with 3 rows, so another Toyota swing and a miss. That only leaves Nissan (but the Armada is about as ugly as they come), Ford (turbo engine with high maintenance) and Chevy (cheap plastics) for full size SUV road trip comfort.

    • @PearComputingDevices
      @PearComputingDevices 7 месяцев назад +1

      @wazatna If cheap plastics and MPG was my main concern I would have never bought a Saturn Relay years ago. It was far thirsty than our grand caravans of ore with far less power. This was quite possibly my most worst vehicle purchase to date. But it did one thing our grand caravan didn't.. it got me by good enough to pay off our home. No major transmission issues, no major rusting. It just kept going. I could have bought something else and damn near anything else could have been an upgrade from that. But I didn't and the slug Saturn just kept running. Cheap plastics, poor mpg and despite being heated and leather, the worst seats in any minivan I ever drove. Yet 20 below zero I could depend on that van to start. It might have drove like it was built on stilts and it had no power, it started and drove. That counts for something in my book. The Sequoia might suffer from cheap plastics and poor MPG, it too has been extremely reliable. You couldn't pay me to take a chance on these modern v6 models. It's not worth the few MPGs to risk. The Sequoia might be lacking in modern touches, it's as old school as it gets I assure you it will probably survive our environment much longer than any of these you mentioned. Nissan is the only other full size I would consider because of that. We loved the Landcruiser. I just can't do that 3rd row. We lovw camping up north and the Sequoia has been one of best camping vehicles we've ever taken. Sure I agree it's MPG is atrocious, it's the Sequoia's worst feature. But for my money it was a good choice. I've never gotten in and regretted buying it unlike our Saturn Relay.

    First of all when you have a new vehicle everything that is not working is covered. I mean everything. So that battery should have been covered. Secondly a cosmetic change to a component does not have any impact on its mechanical function or operation on a vehicles component. So if you put a black out tape on the outside mirror this shouldn’t be a reason for a dealer to deny fixing what is a mechanical function of the mirror. I mean its just tape lol. Either you have the dealer that is hellbent on fraudulent activities or because this seems very unreal for a dealer to not cover issues when vehicle is new. Good luck
