Loved Deacon’s moves, I wonder if he could dance well. Any videos of the three dancing?
Brian and/or Roger dissed a few of Deacy's songs - This and Another One Bites The Dust because of the disco vibe and even You're My Best Friend. Roger was like "I'm not gonna sing "I'm happy at home", we're a rock band!" Brian was also pissed that John insisted there be no guitar solo and instead have synthesizers in I Want To Break Free. Well, boys, which of you wrote their best selling and most-played single, Huh??? Deacy may have been the quiet one, but he had himself a solid gold pair on him when he was being walked all over! I'll bet Freddie loved that!!!
John wrote so many gorgeous songs - some awesome ones them in the 70s - you and I, if you can't beat them join them, need your loving tonight, in only seven days, who needs you, your my best friend, spread your wings etc. Spread your wings is such an exquisite masterpiece, always my absolute favourite song from queen. Actually, easily the most powerful and beautiful song I have ever heard. Ja, he also wrote many wonderful songs in the 80s. Such a diverse and gifted musician and writer! Thankyou Freddie for being generous and kind, supporting your incredibly talented friend John. Millions of people are grateful. Love you Freddie, you brave and sweet man.
If you were around at the time, you will understand why Hot Space was so hated. Time changes things and many haters at the time have learned to love many tracks on it. I loved this and Cool Cat from the very start and enjoyed the Hot Space tour. It was very much a Freddie/John album.

Back chat, Back chat Back chat, Back chat (C'mon) Back chat, Back chat (Hit me!) Back chat, Back chat (Go for it! Go for it! Go for it! Baby) Back chat, Back chat P. S. Didn't find the lyrics in the comments so wrote it myself!
In my opinion this song has two meanings. "Back Chat" is an expression that means giving bad or impertinent answers to a superior. The song lyrics look very much like an abusive relationship and can fit into that too and it's equally genious. But if you look in the video, the setting is industrial and there is a scene (0:38 to 0:45) where, first a worker raises his hand and then everyone else goes along - and just as Freddie yells "see what you've done to me". The "Back Chat" is to the abusive boss who criticizes everything he sees and leaves employees insane and to the manipulating lover. Don't accept them in your life.
Snot Tuft john didn't want the guitar on the song he wanted no rock influences on his songs on hot space and it causes a huge argument as Brian wasn't happy.
Their worst album of the 80's by someway. The Game is probably their best one followed by The Works. In order 1. The Game. 2 The Works 3. The Miracle. 4 A Kind Of Magic. 5 Hot Space. 1982 queen on fire at the bowl.
Looks like Rickroll
The good thing there's about Queen is that they are not staying in the same things. They are testing different stuff through them albums like Pop Rock, Hard Rock, Progressive Rock or Disco, that's why I love Queen!
@Teo Torriatte they played in almost every music genre... I love that
Why doesn't this have more views? So freaking good
Crystal L agree
Crystal L this song is underrated because of the album.Hot space was a massive fail for queen. If this song took place In a more popular album. It would have been a hit no regards.
Crystal L All their songs are so good man
I heard and danced to this song a thousand times, but never knew it was Queen until yesterday! I wonder why in the video only Fred dances. I would have liked they had recorded the video without showing instruments and make the other three dance with girls or in a choreography or pieces of it.
Deacon seems to be a soul man at heart. he really came into his own songwriting-wise in their 80's work.
Now Deaky was so proud of Freddie’s disco dance moves 😂 And look at Deaky just dancing and having fun 😂😍😍
0:50 best bass player EVER.
Queen is love
Queen is life
Queen forever!
Элен Google You are my man 👋
One of the most underrated song by Queen
I love this song and Freddie’s moves! Never understood why ‘Hot Space did poorly’ I thought it was great!
It IS great 👍🏻! Freddie’s movies are 😋😍😋😛🤩😋At the Bowl1982
It's because it didn't have much of the usual flamboyance and prog rock elements they were known for.
Had it been released during the 1977-1980 period it would have been different...dance music was old news when this album was released...
*deacy managed the band to release a diss track about brian*
Gasterrific 😂
Omyghod-
Perfect😂
that's why i consider the guitar parts (at Bri style, the funky ones are from Deaks) like a response lol
I love your videos 😚😚😚😚😚
this is my favorite hair on deaky
This and the floof :D
But the long hair tho.......
me tooooooo
signe palenius his long hair is just so majestic
Hot Space Is a Great Album
If you were around at the time, you will understand why Hot Space was so hated. Time changes things and many haters at the time have learned to love many tracks on it. I loved this and Cool Cat from the very start and enjoyed the Hot Space tour. It was very much a Freddie/John album.
Well, Deaky's enjoying it
I have no doubt Freddie was born to be a legend
Intro]
Mmm, yeah
Ha!
[Chorus]
Back chat, Back chat, you burn all my energy
Back chat, Back chat, criticizing all you see
Back chat, Back chat, analyzing what I say
Back chat, Back chat, and you always get your way
[Post-Chorus]
Oh yeah, see what you've done to me
[Verse 1]
Backchat, Backchat, you're driving me insane
It's a battle to the end, knock you down, you come again
Talk back, talk back, you've got me on the rack
Twisting every word I say, you wind me up and get your way
Fat chance I have of making a romance
If I'm ever gonna win, have to get the last word in
Take it from there, twisting every word I say
Huh, wind me up and let me play
[Chorus]
Back chat (oh yeah), Back chat, you burn all my energy
Back chat (huh), Back chat, criticizing all you see
Back chat (hey), Back chat, analyzing what I say
Back chat (yeah), Back chat, and you always get your way
[Guitar Solo]
[Verse 2]
Wake up, stand up and drag yourself on out
Get down, get ready, scream and shout
Back off, be cool, and learn to change your ways
'Cause your talking in your sleep and your walking in a daze
Don't push your luck with me, I'm ready to attack
'Cause when I'm tryna talk to you all you do is just talk back
You stand so tall you don't frighten me at all
Don't talk back, don't talk back, don't talk back
Just leave me alone
Hey
[Chorus]
Back chat, Back chat, you burn all my energy
Back chat (huh), Back chat, criticizing all you see
Back chat, Back chat, analyzing what I say
Back chat, Back chat, and you always get your way
Outro]
Yes, you do, ah
Yes, you do, baby, c'mon!
Back chat, Back chat
Back chat, Back chat (C'mon)
Back chat, Back chat (Hit me!)
Back chat, Back chat (Go for it! Go for it! Go for it! Baby)
Back chat, Back chat
P. S. Didn't find the lyrics in the comments so wrote it myself!
Thank you!
Thanks😊
Shneha Prasad the hero we all needed))
Merci beaucoup
Queen are Geniuses... They can perform anything from Disco to Inspirational to hard rock songs... So much Talent.
This is probably one of my favourite Queen songs
This is one of the best songs of queen and to me john is a bass legend i love his bass lines and the songs he wrote they are priceless
0:50 dAmn Deaky he's got them moves
Happy Birthday , John Deacon!!!
Don't accept them in your life.
interesting observation but the song was actually written by John Deacon getting annoyed by Brian May's persistent nagging and (back chatting )
Nope This is Deaky getting pissed off at Brian May. that's all.
Roger: :/
Brian: |:(
Freddie: :)
John: ;) hehe
So true. John Deacon wrote this song, so he was very excited.
Haha so true!
lmaooooooo
Exactly! :))))
Deaky having a ball in this vid.
Love Queen's disco funk phase ❤
I love Freddie and his dance moves! He looks so fun to hang out with!
This song has a surprisingly good guitar solo!!
That's because John Deacon was the primary guitarist on this song . Awesome .Just awesome .
John did most guitar but that actual solo was done by Brian.
Snot Tuft john didn't want the guitar on the song he wanted no rock influences on his songs on hot space and it causes a huge argument as Brian wasn't happy.
As an avid Queen fan, not ashamed to say that this is an absolute banger!
The bass in this is amazing so simplistic thanks John
It's heavy on the funk, but there's definitely a slight 80's vibe...love it.
*slight* 😐🎧
This is one of my favorites. Freddie's dance moves are top tier.
I love his voice at 3:03
his voice is amazing. I love Freddie ❤️
👏👏
0:52 Deaky smiles thinking (that's right.... You singing my song) ;)
I personally love the Hot Space Album!
4:09 he say "Merci beaucoup, Thank You, Danke" ;-)
OHMYGODDDDD
@@user-qi3fl4ez8q "thank you" literally lol
yaaaaassss love it
One of the best Queen songs, different style, but still so rhytmic and catchy
I think then same. Freddie steps out the the lift and starts the awesome show full of rocking energy
1:05 reminds me a lot of the 'These are the days of our lives' music video
HOT SPACE is actually the best album of the 80's by Queen
Their worst album of the 80's by someway. The Game is probably their best one followed by The Works. In order 1. The Game. 2 The Works 3. The Miracle. 4 A Kind Of Magic. 5 Hot Space. Game Side 1 is excellent has 3 singles on it and Dragon Attack. Only 1 weak track on it Coming Soon. The rest are great tracks even though Play the Game is not one of my favs.
Steve Phillips every queen album is great no matter how over or underrated
@@stevephillips6309 True, The game is the best album from Queen in 80´s. Dragon attack is just amazing
@@stevephillips6309 Agreed with everything you said. Dragon Attack played live is *chef’s kiss* The Game also has Save Me which is one of the best songs they have
Hot space is so underated! This song is a gem!
Back chat is the song that captures the core of Hot Space
The two introverts are having a diss battle and honestly it's adorable
2 professors to be exact 👨🏻🚀👨🏻🏭
@@tizasatwika3586 Still both are the introverts of Queen
Probably will be like battle of little kittens.
@@tizasatwika3586 One is Brian May and the other?
