    Wow, good coverage! I couldn't imagine being in the air for that long but I'm sure it's quite an experience. Cheers!

      Thanks - the Singapore flight attendants are fantastic, and having a comfortable seat that reclines and good food and wine makes it bearable - plus I enjoy the flight route over the north K

    Fascinating video! The longest nonstop I've ever taken was 12hr-40min. I was exhausted. I can barely imagine what another six hours would've been like. Yikes!

      +Dave Glo You know it really wasn't so bad, I was interested in flying over the pole, plenty of video and audio, and good wine to boot - I have traveled many long haul flights and have found best to just go with it and not have an anticipation of getting to your destination soon

    was it comfortable? were you able to sleep properly?

    • @JKevinBrady801
      @JKevinBrady801  8 лет назад +1

      +Shri Kiran It was quite comfortable - the business class seats reclined to near horizontal. Its always a bit hard to travel long distances especially this one where the time difference is 12 hours, but I'm pretty used to it - I try to sleep when Im sleepy and not just go with the new time zone right away

    How often did you have to fly this route?

    • @JKevinBrady801
      @JKevinBrady801  9 лет назад +2

      Avolp777 I only flew this route 4 times, but it was an interesting experience each time - got pretty rough turbulence over Canada approaching Lake Superior, but I don't mind - reminds me that I'm flying. I had a friend who was afraid and I told her it's really like waves on a boat ride - nothing to worry about. I also have a video over the north pole on the Continental EWR-HKG inaugural

      +Avolp777 I only flew the non-stop twice - sometimes I would go to Tokyo or Hong Kong first - SQ's 747 service is also great - I did business with them so they usual put me in first class - you know a flight is great when you've been in the air for 15 hours and are sad that you are landing..
