Hello ,I was taught that taro leaves must be cooked for quite a long time to avoid itching .I there no danger to cook it this way.
If you add something sour like tamarind, lemon or kokum, then it counteracts the itchiness
The best cooking waw! Love
Thank you!
Nicely done! Shared!
They're also delicious just steamed (i.e. not fried) with just a bit of olive oil.

Kindly guide a little on the type of leaves used. Thanks.
Colocasia leaves
Waah
Once after steaming can I store it in freezer and for how long so that I can make the patras again after few days?
Omg! I have these leaves in my houseplant!
You've among the finest videos.
Excellent😊
Which type of colacasia leaves you use??? White steam or blackish steam???
where can i get those leafs is that available in TN ? can we get some of these plants in Online ?
All perfect recipe just missing garnishing with pomegranate seeds Dear Varun.
In Maharashtra it's called aloovadi
In Gujarati its called patra
Wao... Thank you
You can also add onions to the tadka. And we just mix the patra into it and they break apart and it's the best thing
Thankyou🙏😊
Can we use pumpkin leaf
What is the name of those leaves can u tell me in english
Can I make this with cabbage
Nice sir
can we use pan ka patta instead arbi leaf
Stems are green which means these leaves are for gravy subji
In Mumbai purple stems leaves are for patra
Is it right?
What do you do for scratchy throat it sometimes gives?
Chef are they arvi leaves or potato leaves
What to do to maintain green color of patara..?
Any colocasia leaf is ok?
