    Nice taste....ln Tulunaadu(South Canara),It is called as 'Pathrode' but we used rice floor instead of gramfloor.

      It's from North came dow to South with Saraswath Brahmin, its called Patrodo in Konkani Patra is leaves and Vodo is Dumpling /round shape, it is called Tonduru in tulu.

    It’s also cooked in Himachal called patrode.. it’s cooked in the same as shown in video. It’s delicious n served as snacks as well...mouth watering dish🤤🤤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    I had enjoyed a frozen version from, If I recall correctly, Hadriim Foods brand, and wow, the way you made it fresh resembles so closely to how it came when reheated! Now I’m looking forward to finding a restaurant that can make them to order near me.

    In our side of Gujarat we add the patra to the tadka not the other way round

      Only one thing the stinging on the tongue stays for sometime while eating, as per ur recpie u said to steam for 15 mins , I almost steamed for 20 mins still slight stinging there which is not there in the ones we get outside

    Hello ,I was taught that taro leaves must be cooked for quite a long time to avoid itching .I there no danger to cook it this way.

      If you add something sour like tamarind, lemon or kokum, then it counteracts the itchiness
