I was disappointed to discover that there is no downloadable transcript. I was hoping to be able to download the Spanish and English translation of this story but there was no Spanish version of the story. There was only the English, which was not downloadable either.

Jamás escuché en España a nadie decir “.... corrió atrás del autobús"
Para un español eso significa más bien que corrió por el pasillo, en la parte trasera del autobús.

Whatever "Hilario corrió atrás del autobus" means, "Hilario ran behind the bus" does not mean what the author of this video thinks it means. It means either a) that the bus was stationary and he ran to the other side of it, perhaps in order to hide there or b( that the bus was moving and that he was was running in its wake, perhaps to take advantage of its slipstream. In English, if you wanted to convey the idea that Hilario wished to board the bus, you would have to say that "Hilario ran AFTER the bus but he did not CATCH it.

@@gymroskabachulskichorizins8813 I imagine that most of the people watching this video are English speakers who want to learn Spanish and have an interest in how "corrió atrás del autobús" translates to ENGLISH. If this does not apply to you, you can always scroll on by. There's no need to be rude.
