I remember forming it (forgot to jungle specialize btw). I first took northwest Africa and France to secure Madrid, then moved to the Americas. México was the last country there but it was allied with the USSR which had taken the rest of Europe (I had Italy, some of the UK and then Germany (and France of course). So I truced him, took Mexico and equatorial Guinea. Only Philippines was l ft, and was Japanese. So I asked Japan to give it to me but the truce had ended and USSR declared war. I quickly realized he did not know how to defend acs and I got 4. Then tank spammed. However, he could spam harder in Europe and the situation was I was doing well in Italy and east but got pushed back almost to Spain, but got UK. I was about to go in debt when I realized the troops for Mexico hadn't been disbanded and sold more consumers. After suffering 22m deaths, he could no longer spam and I pushed back with ease (I think he had MP shortage because Japan was giving money). So we wped, I took Philippines and formed the empire, without jungle specialization
I tried to form it up to 5 times and I was sooo close to forming the Empire (only guam away from my reach) but dangit the laptop had to do to sayonara and take a nap. I lost all progress. Now good thing the Mighty Amandus gifted us this...
My strategy is kinda similar that I used to form get good relations with Europe, and colonize northern South America from iberia and take Morocco After that I expand into Central America, Cuba, and any other nations that haven’t been taken by a player I need to form Then I focus on naval dominance if diplomacy fails, I build a strong navy and invade both us and Brazil,although it depends if they are good or not, but most are bad so I formed by 2024-25
I formed it by by starting my conquest on the central america and then heading towards east until venezuela, and then down south to argentina and uruguagy I also stayed neutral in europe and only allied some that seemed to be good at the game
Btw I'd recommend Mountain Specialization instead of jungle. Jungles reduce troop speed by from 30k/s to 15 k/s, but mountains drop it to just 6k/s so yeah, mountain specialization will help conquering the andes much faster

I formed it today before seeing this i had about 20k tanks and they were either mountain or jungle specialized the hardest countries to get was prob Phillipines and chile but for some reason my tank's kept dying in equatorial guinea but i eventualy got it

You don't really need to invade spain so just ally spain if possible and have good relations with europe and then you can colonise also the hardest part about portuguese empire is invading brazil everything else is easier

You should always focus on Naval as a Colonizer. You never know when a nearby superpower will attack you
