Thanks for the review Mark. I watched this a few times before I went for my Scotty fitting... I came away with the Golo 3 and had 20g weights fitted :) its the most gorgeous piece of kit I have ever bought, and one that I will be keeping for long long time to come... Happy Putting !
I was initially set on a heel-shafted putter, but I ended up preferring the center-shafted Golo 5. Scotties are worth the money guys, just spend a lot of time testing out all the putters before you dump the money. I made three separate trips to the PGA superstore before I finally decided on mine.
Just bought a GoLo 5, love it. Put a fatso 5.0 grip on it and it's exactly what you want from the putter. The response from the stroke is exactly what you expect in terms of sound/feel.
Treated myself to a Go-Lo 5, only bad thing is im kicking myself for not changing to it before now, great feel and feedback from the putter, fantastic, tried the no, 3 & 7 but personally the no5 was the club for me, great investment.
I just bought that GoLo 3 and it feels so damn good. I used a Studio Select traditional blade style head for 5 or 6 years and lately I just lost confidence in the shape. I bought a Nike mid-mallet, and I loved the shape, it just didn't feel as amazing as the Scotty. I love this thing. The look, the feel, even the ugly headcover. I can't wait to use it for the next 5 or 6 years (hopefully more)
@@slimrick it was great I sold it for $260.00. I would suggest you try one out at golf galaxy it has a little extra weight as you bring the putter forward
GoLo - train with a GoLo 7 counterbalance, play with a very thin grip on the original GoLo Select Black head. Also use the counterbalance when the greens are stupid fast, helps rhythm
This is my 2nd Scotty Cameron putter,1st one is a blade the new one is a go low, mallet style but want 2 change the weights as its 2 heavy now for my stroke', need tool and different weights or planks but don't know we're 2 get them !!!!!
Any putter recommendations? I have a odyssey metal x 7 putter which i used for my previous highschool season but I want more of a blade style rather than a mallet. Metal x 7 was around $100 usd and I'm looking to spend the same amount but I don't want a $250 usd Scotty Cameron. Thoughts?
Have the Newport slant blade. Love the look of the #3 tho. I have a Cleveland Classic with a similar shape and really like the shape. My Scotty I get a better roll with tho.
