- This is my first ever Non- Music Video related video and i honestly had so much fun making it. I had no idea what kind of music people were listening to in the Philippines prior to making this. Can't even explain how excited i was to find that i knew most of the songs mentioned in this video. I'm honestly looking forward to a lot more Philippines related content reactions.

I think it's also important to take into consideration WHERE he was in the video. This was in Makati, a central business district in Metro Manila. Maybe if he did it outside of Manila, the answers will be more varied.

My opinion is that the reason why the interviewer usually finds ppl who listen more to western music is that he's in the CBD area. Im not saying that in the provinces we dont listen to western music.

FYI Taylor Swift has been the top artist for a long time here in the Phils. Filos love western music, you can trace it up on the local charts, not until now that OPM (Filo Music|) is on the rise.
Yes, Taylor Swift has a big fanbase here in PH. :) Swifties are still waiting for her to come back cuz she did not include a PH stop in her Eras tour haha. Nevertheless she's still loved here A LOT!

I didn't know we were unusual. I thought other peoples listened to all kinds of stuff, too. The only thing I thought was weird is that we still listen to music all the way down to the 70's and sometimes even 60's.

Crazy very few actually love OPM so sad
Personally, the reason i don't listen much to OPM is because most of the mainstream songs tend to sound rap-y/hip-hop ish?? not really a fan of modern Filipino rap/hiphop . most OPM songs in my playlist tends to be 10-20 years old . there are some few exceptions though.
