For folks looking for information on the tape measure it is a Farrand Rapid Rule from the 20's. Farrand invented the curved metal shape of the tape that is the standard for all modern tape measures.

I would have set the brass inlays with screws instead of epoxy. That way you could add or subtract weights under the brass to customize the putter!

A couple things that would improve this club and make it more suitable for real life play on the course. Ensure the putter has a few degrees of loft to it. Put a milled insert on the face(this allows for a much truer and consistent roll). And make it a metal shaft(I know it doesn't look as good, but the last thing you want is for the shaft to break. Also it'll give you more confidence to put the power necessary on those long 40ft + putts). These are pretty putters though. I've been thinking of making one out of solid wood.

cool stuff! I didnt notice in the video if you had done it, but you're going to need 4-5 degrees of loft on the face of that thing to get it to really roll the ball well. without it, the ball will hop on impact and generally deflect offline. you could also accomplish it with your shaft insertion, but its typical to mill it into the face. :)
