@@M3TaGh0sStT Nothing sinister, but ChrissyD episodes of podcasts were huge and his name was finally getting out there in his 30s he had a reality show thing going on then cancelled it because comedy was going great then Gillis showed up and became that high view east coaster if you read the threads/comments/reddit about Chrissy's first appearances on podcasts its all the same stuff people say about Theo and Shane Gillis now, and all that went away for him now he's spiraling hardcore, patreon dropped below half, selling his house, moving his family, constantly circling the same 3 dull trump topics Cancelling history hyenas the second he got solo fame is like the Are You Garbage guys cancelling that podcast because one of them has a good podcast appearance

The much more likely theory is that people got sick of DiStefano, like I did. I liked Hyenas for a while but DiStefano is ‘small doses’ and Pappas feels deflated when he’s not bouncing off another higher-energy person like DiStefano. Also , The world is big enough to have Gillis and DiStefano. It’s not like people can only like 1 comedian. Did Patrice O’Neal & Norm Macdonal RUIN careers by being better than other comedians? No, people can watch Patrice, Norm, AND others without people losing a career. DiStefano and Pappas are to blame for their own energy fizzling out. Simple.
Yannis & Distefano did kept check with each other’s faults, until both can’t compromise. As a persona, Yannis tried to be the tough NY guy, which comes across as being difficult to work with; while Distefano tried to be the edgelord due to his self described mental instability. Now they both went solo and whimper into obscurity, while highlighting their short falls. And then, Redbar had a little peek into their lives…🎉
