Is the Tissot PRX Carbon WORTH the HYPE?

- Today I am reviewing the new Tissot PRX Carbon (T137.907.97.201.00)! This thing is amazing and I can't believe Tissot made it! Who could have seen this coming?? Not me that's for sure!

A friend has one and I still consider getting it as well alongside my green dial steel powermatic. All I can say is that there is not a single photo or video that does justice to how good it looks and feels in real life. Only thing that bothers me is that I read from someone (he's in this comment section too) who knows someone who had their lug break off which makes me worry a little. Due to its extreme scratch resistance it would be a great daily watch but the high hardness of carbon and the way it is produced could indeed make it a brittle case, I don't know man. It sure is a very cool watch.
I understand the hesitation, but also don't believe everything you read on the internet! See if anyone else had that issue to help you make that judgement!
I’ve been wearing this watch as a daily since it first released and it still amazes me. But I will say photos do not do the dial justice. You definitely have to see this in person to truly appreciate it.

My buddys carbon just crumbled. Strap Lug broke right off and he only wore it four times. I would AVOID these peices of trash.

I mean it is crazy that Tissot made a full carbon watch and charged under $1k. The only thing it’s missing is a clasp instead of a tang.

But a minute hand with the Tissot T emblem might just add that extra charm that one would expect from a $1k watch… at least for me. Second hand is far too simple.

I feel like this would look incredible on an orange rubber waffle strap - checked with Tissot and they don't make one (yet), but there are a few knock off options out there...
I know delugs makes a great aftermarket strap for the PRX!

Two completely different levels of quality with those two brands though. It would probably push the price way out of the realm of "affordable".
