@@itstheBMAC Kinda. I am having a hard time getting the image of how this would work. I would like to play my iPad or iPhone into it with a mix of my [head set with mic]. Would I just find it on my iDevice and play it? Would anything playing on the WiFion that device be played on the speaker? Could the wifi hub of the iDevise be used?
Although it should not happen, what if the Bluetooth fails one day, can I connect my turntable to this speaker. I see that the JBL authentics do not have facilities to connect any devices. I have a dieing Marshall Stanmore mark i and it can be connected to most devices like my turntable. What do you recommend..?
namaste sir. which one should I purchase for good sound quality JBL authentic 200 or (2) stereo JBL flip 6 . but I purchase any one of them because of limited budget. and portability is not issue for me
Nowadays, many RUclipsrs claim to 'review' audio equipment like speakers and amplifiers. However, most of these 'reviewers' simply use the videos as a platform to showcase their own voices. They talk endlessly throughout the video, barely allowing viewers to hear the actual sounds of the audio gear they're supposedly reviewing.
I’ve explained this too many times before. Hearing an audio demo would NEVER accurately represent the audio quality. The sound would be captured from a microphone, processed by an external audio recorder, processed in my video editor, exported by my media encoder, processed again by RUclips and then played back on completely different speakers. Hopefully you remember this the next time you try to discount all of the hard work I put into my audio reviews.
I am thinking of purchasing a JBL Auhtentics 500 speaker. Before I do so, I would like to understand its compatibility with Spotify better. Is it possible to control a JBL Auhtentics 500 speaker via Google Assistant voice commands to play Spotify music? The reason I ask, is because the JBL One app doesn't have Spotify as one of its streaming services. I do have the Google Home app with various wifi speakers, and want to know if I can add the JBL Auhtentics 500 speaker as one of the wifi speakers in the Google Home app, and then play Spotify via voice commands on all speakers including the JBL one.

@@itstheBMAC I thought it sounded really muddy, I have the authentics 200, and that sounds way better, it’s way overpriced for what it is, I see why a lot of people returned this speaker, I bought the Bose soundlink max at the same time, and that sounds way better, even the bass.

Just purchased the Authentics 500 and connected it to my TV via Bluetooth. The sound is amazing, no regret with my purchase ❤.
Happy to hear it!
Can I pair my jbl boombox 3 wifi to the authentics 500 using wifi?
Will this speaker work with a WiFi hub created on my router or on my iPad?
You should be able to connect this speaker to any WiFi network. Does that answer your question?

Happy to hear it!
does this speaker sound good at low volumes? I live in a dorm with bad soundproofing lol I dont' want to blast it
Yes! I’d say it sounds great from 30-70%.
If the woburn 3 and JBL Authentics 500 are priced almost the same... which one would you recommend?
Authentics 500. Vocals is equally clear with added bass
high quality editing and review
Thank you! Much appreciated!
I wish they made orange color front sponge panel
That would be cool!

I like knobs though.
Well then you’re good to go.
@@itstheBMAC ps I did buy this, I had a zeppelin, 500 is wow
No spotify? Lets just say for a $500 product, that is trash
I understand what you’re saying and I generally think the same in terms of value - but I think AirPlay users would love the speaker.
@@itstheBMAC you are right. I prefer connect the display with airplay. I guess i get a bettter song's quality.

@@itstheBMAC it just sounded very muddy, and the bass was nothing special, I’ve got portable speakers with better bass than that.
lol. you might have an ear issue
