Pretty simple, they didn't show up. They were lazy and sloppy. The only way LA wins this series is if Edmonton beats themselves, which isn't impossible

You limit McDavid, you automatically degrade the team to lower level because everything, and I mean absolutely everything that happens with Oil evolves around him.
He evolved into nit just shooter but great passer, so you make his life more difficult by working him, throwing him off his game, and it becomes pretty even game. Oil is good in drawing penalties because that's where they beat other teams with, so when you limit McDavid, you also decrease the number of penalties against you.
Having said that, it's not easy job to do, and it's exhausting. Playing zone is much easier than your man, and that also limits your own potential chances.
Oil is a scoring machine but it's not too good on defensive side - 8 goals scored against in two games is not a good result for a team that has SC in it's sights.
They are offensively more talented than Kings roster but they can also be frustrated if Kings play their game to a T.
For all I care, this could go both ways. Just because you have McDavid and Draisatl as two top guns could mean shit if they are closely guarded. They make most of the plays, and if you don't give them room consistently, things may go bad for you greasers.
I never make predictions because of the nature of hockey, I just hope Kings won't go easy if they must go. I don't think Kings are championship caliber team at this point but they can make other people's lives miserable here and there.

And comparing Kopi to Bergeron??? Maybe people need to pull their head out. Kopi is better than Bergeron in almost every single career category. The skill level of Kopitar is far superior to that of Bergeron.
