Brining Perry and Broberg in was what was needed...Desharnais is more suited to a heavier game. Dallas looks afraid to take a penalty and rightfully so...but no scrums after whistles is keeping emotions out.

I must admit that, as an Oilers fan , I took those 80’s teams for granted. It seems like it happened just yesterday but 30-40 years have passed in the blink of an eye.
The 2006 run was great and completely unexpected as the Oilers barely qualified for the postseason, but this year, this Oilers team has revived the passion of those long-ago days and made me realize just how hard and grinding it is to get to this stage, let alone go all the way.
Enjoy the excitement of this run, but don’t take it for granted. Celebrate the success with grace and humility. Go Oilers Go, indeed.

As a Canadian, I didn’t appreciate the thumbs down 👎 by a Dallas fan at the end of O Canada. To add to that, the two finger tap, meant to be a weak way of applauding, and his giggling, lead me to believe the Oilers were going to win. Call it what you will, but IMO the Karma for the evening was set. Go Edmonton go! Break that 30+ year drought of a Canadian team winning the Stanley Cup!

Last night, Stuart Skinner delivered an outstanding performance that took many by surprise, including myself. While I’ve never been a fan of his playstyle, I have to give credit where it’s due. His efforts were crucial in the Oilers' victory and showcased what he’s capable of when he’s at the top of his game. If Skinner can maintain this level of play, it could be a game-changer for the Oilers' aspirations to win the cup. Consistency will be key, and I’ll be watching to see if he can keep up this impressive form. Go Oilers!
